When first the mantle of Maheral fell unto me, it was during a time of great peril and uncertainty. My ascension was not of my own choice but of the Motherland's, for she lacked a guide to lead her through the storm. As the Children of Silver set foot on new land, I can attest that we have weathered the storm and enjoy renewed prosperity. Having seen the duty that was bestowed upon me by the revered Malaurir Avern'dionne Fi'talareh to completion, I believe I have but one task ahead of me. As the light of Larihei fades from me, I can conceive of one final duty to the Motherland, to illuminate a new guide of the Mali’thill.

 

I can think of no wiser or more learned hand to direct the Blessed Populace than Malaurir Silvos Sythaerin, who previously held the seat to great acclaim. This bestowed honour comes as the result of careful deliberation with Malaurir Sythaerin and his proven unwavering loyalty to the ancient Motherland. As such, Silvos Sythaerin is now Maheral, for the Maheral simply is. May he guide us all in Larihei’s wisdom.
