Greetings folks far and wide,

 

I, Tio Hick, am here to announce that I have been alive for a whole ass century.

 

Truly a miracle considering how many of you tried to kill me.

 

I’m surprised no one has succeeded. (wink wink).

 

Come to Viru friends and enemies -yes enemies- to celebrate me getting one over you all by being alive!

 

Ps: No I don’t want gifts (I do), you are gifts to my suffering on your own and that is enough.

A chuckle which soon turned into howling laughter sounded through Thalis' house as she read the announcement. Indeed, a whole ass century and what a time it had been. A gift would need to be prepared, one suitable for her grandfather. The middle-aged woman sat in her favourite corner and began brainstorming ideas.

Oswald received the invitation and chuckled on how it was phrased. Only Hick could compose something like this he said to himself.
He then checked his schedule, and scribbled down "Hick 100" on the appropriate day.

Noticing a pigeon flying by as a certain gobliness would travel back from the beach, the feathered friend would smack into a nearby rock & leave the note for her to pick up in curiosity. She recognized the handwriting, the name, though a bit surprised to see how vast time felt for her.

Letting out a light, chittered chuckle, the gobliness couldn't help but smile a bit as she tucked the invitation into her pocket for safe-keeping, her thoughts beginning to plan....

In her room, Meliope heard the faint laughter of her mother sound through the house. With a shake of her head and a grin on her face, the teen waved the pigeon goodbye. It took off with a treat in its beak. As she opened the letter and read through it a bright smile bloomed on her lips.

 

Who knew her great grandpa was this old already?

 

The promise of  a birthday party with many new people filled the girl with excitement. Her room full of plant may have looked at her weird as she began jumping around on the floor, flapping her hands. A gift is needed for such an occasion. And Meliope already had many, many ideas. She immediately prepared her space and got to work.
