SOLSTICE BOOKS & CURIOSITIES served as the primary source of academic literature in the Commonwealth of the Petra for fifty years on Aevos, curated and run by the House of Reinhold. Now the bookstore has re-opened its doors in the city of Riviènse, with the same expansive inventory and sensible pricing, and a slightly shorter name.

Solstice Books offers copies of ninety-five unique volumes at the time of its opening, with a constantly expanding inventory. This large library is split between seven different categories; Arcane, Alchemy, History, Languages, Guides, Religion, and Fiction. We are proud to offer a wide variety of tomes, from low-cost fiction novels to detailed research materials.

PRICING

All books are priced based on their length, with the shortest books of 8-12 pages going for 7-10 mina each, and the longest of 90 or more pages going for 40-45 mina each. The only exception to this rule is books of alchemical recipes, which are priced based on the value of the recipes they contain rather than page number.

BULK ORDERING & TRADES

Academic institutions such as schools, libraries, and museums which wish to place large orders of books for their collections will receive a discount on the total cost. Solstice Books also accepts trades instead of mina payments, and will exchange copies of books for tomes that it does not already have. If you are interested in either a trade or bulk purchase, visit the store or send a letter to Alistair Reinhold if it is unmanned.

The House of Reinhold looks forward to continuing its supply of fine printed works to all of Idunia, and beyond. Solstice Books’ new location may be found at Saint Rhosyn Square V in the city of Riviènse, capital of the Commonwealth of the Petra.
