I’m finished. Finished with all of it.” The McReed muttered, his eyes fixed only on the Lord Marshal of the Imperium.

Moments later, Angus felt the corrupt sting of Blighted Steel tear through him. Azhl flooded his veins like poison fire, and he fled—stumbling through alleys, clutching the tainted wound as the curse ate at his strength. By the time he reached a place that would take him in, his legs gave out beneath him. Darkness claimed him before he hit the floor.

When consciousness returned, Angus lay in a bed in the city clinic. A woman crossed the room, offering quiet words that blurred in his ears. But before he could answer, the burn of Malflame surged through his flesh and spirit alike, wrenching a cry from him. He tried to fight, to rise, to defend himself—yet his body obeyed only in trembling fragments.

A sharp line of pain cut across his throat , and warmth spilled down his collar. He sagged back, breath faltering.

The McReed coughed, flecks of blood touching his lips as he stared weakly at his attacker. The taste of iron coated his tongue.
“What… what did I do… to earn this?” he rasped, vision dimming.

“You’re racist filth I won’t have in my city,” the voice answered, seething like venom.

The blade descended again—swift, final.

And with that, the story of Sir Angus McReed came to its end.

He died alone no Familie or Friends. No one will ever know that he died regretting it All
