Balthasar 2497 Share Posted November 28, 2025 DÓMSFELLI LEVYING JUDGEMENT Issued by the High Hearth, on the 12th of 10th of EIRIKSSTANDA, IAÁ 587, AGE OF DRAGONFYRE HEED THE WORDS OF JUSTICE, On a day which should have been one of kindling, a day in which a child becomes a Ruric, raised from ashes to worthiness, a position of authority. It would instead be interrupted by two citizens of Norland, who had in their hearts good intentions, but were wholly ignorant of the sacred ceremony taking place. Rather than hold their tongues and stand away and observe, Faith. They thought it was in their best interest to intervene. They were wrong. Instead, the child is still a child, forced to go through the ritual once more. Such actions cannot go without punishment. This is unprecedented; this has never occurred before. The High Hearth has discussed the issue, and a fitting punishment has been reached in consensus. One has already received their punishment, but this still leaves one: TO THISTLE Your punishment for intervening in the Rite of Kindling shall be banishment from the Ashen Realm. You shall undertake a pilgrimage, go on a road of penance, and come to understand your faults and master yourself. As was spoken by the Dawnlord in the First Tenet; “Amongst you, and within you will dwell the shadow. In your hearts, in your minds, in your souls. These shadows will bleed to your words, your deeds. I task my sons and daughters to look inward, to cleanse the foulness within themselves. Suffer not the Unworthy.” (Fire I) Return unto the High Hearth only when your pilgrimage is complete. When you are ready to reveal unto us your mastery of yourself. Only then shall your banishment be lifted. AND SO IT SHALL BE, BY THE WILL OF THE ALLFATHER Signed, Luminary Mimir av Vjardengrad Keeper Amlodhi of Ailmere Keeper Sissel av Freysdóttir Keeper Orin Vel’Venest

PotatoFan117 393 Share Posted November 28, 2025 ". . . .thistle. . . .. .THISTLE?!" the elder yelled out in disbelief "all of this because of some rite?. . . . ." He sighed before trying to relax again on his balcony.
Sonybut7 530 Share Posted November 28, 2025 "I shall walk with him. And guide him." The Acolyte stated, preparing a travel back for a great pilgrimage to the North. "We can not decide whether his acts were against, or with the All-Father's will." He stated softly, a sled prepared. Rations of Muktuk packed. A Inuit Bone Spear grasped. "His Will lives in every act of good."
Iulius 208 Share Posted November 28, 2025 A bird traveled with the missive reaching the woods of Verdrgrad, capital city of the North. There the Thegn was meditating, surrounded by an azure mist which aimlessly gravitated around him. His eyes opened, and he went to recover the missive from the animal. Among erratic breaths a sigh escaped him as he read the contents, lightly shaking his head. Then he closed his eyes once again, returning to his meditation.
Terry 2680 Share Posted November 28, 2025 The Hetman gazed upon the missive as he happened upon it, giving it a once-over. He would never understand the ways of the Red Faith, important ceremonies or not, and thus resigned to that fact as he continued upon his day, a new curiosity appearing for that other individual in question.
Monty Cobra 921 Share Posted November 28, 2025 A Nord, brooding in weary frustration, sought out his brother with supplies and provisions for the supposed journey. “At the very least we won’t let them throw you out the gates with nothing, hermano.”
LuckyD 141 Share Posted November 29, 2025 "I hope he does this soon and easily, I need to tell him how much I love his hat." Relad would mutter, flipping over quite slowly the Red Faith's lecture handout. He wondered if there was magic to fix his reading issues. Hm. Probably none he could afford, sadly. Luka_Rei 66 Share Posted November 29, 2025 The young man's hands trembled upon seeing what laid written upon the missive. He read it once, twice, and hoped each time the words would change themself. His could feel himself losing self control, but stomped it out. He took hold of the wooden mask Mimir had made for him and slid it over his face, "Thistle.. you damn fool. When will you stop making mistakes?" He muttered, laughing bitterly to himself. Alone. Turning around the way he came, away from the place he'd called home.
