The End of The Soraya Kharadeen ‘The Betrayer’s Reign
18th OF MALIN'S WELCOME, 1656
image.thumb.png.384a1dd6785edc4e57c55eb2866eb42a.png

It has been 7 Qali years since The Mahdi had finished the liberation of the Farfolk from Soraya Kharadeen’s reign. Many years did the Farfolk oppression take place, beginning when Soroya Kharadeen had betrayed her people, allowing the massacre of her own people for the sake of power, and the consequences were dire. The first major incident was when a caravan designated by the masjid of primarily women and children was attacked upon the road to Haense on a Zakat mission. Later it was found that it was Soroya, angered by the inability to take the Zakat for themselves, did they give the information to a canonist extremist group, which resulted in the burning of several women at the stake, one of which being the infamous pregnant women Hafsah Kaneen who was martyred that day.

It was this event that began the marking of the great Farfolk oppression, Where Soroya Kharadeen began the destruction of the Masjids, and banning of religious and cultural wear, and the worship of Iman Rashidun. Many innocents were arrested, and many were martyred. It was then when the magnificent Auda Kharadeen, The Mahdi, created the intifada, and for several long years he fought the super powers of the world, and overcame them. Having many of the farfolks resided in Haense, cousins of the Mahdi that were related to Soroya had urged Auda to return the Qalasheen to Santegia-Haria offering promises of change.

Tensions were high within Santegia-Haria, but the pain of the oppression of Soroya still stung, her influence destroyed over the farfolk through the valiant Mujahideen of the Kadarsi. However, it did not last for long, rumors wafted about that a plan was in place against the Kadarsi and the farfolks by the Betrayer once more and one fateful evening, Soroya Kharadeen, upon a walk within the city, stumbled against a poor Qalasheen women. She had ordered her guards to tear her hijab off, and some incidents report she was forced to drink wine. This caused the eruption of the farfolks, and through a large protest which overwhelmed the Santegians and through the honorable and valiant few Santegians, forced Soroya to surrender all leadership of the farfolks and return the titles of Haria.

It was this day of the 18th of Malin’s welcome, 1656 did the Qalasheen receive their independence and toppled the tyrannical Dictator and freed their country.

It is why as we approach this historic day once more, we will host the great celebration of the official end of the Farfolk Oppression and the Qalasheen independence! Come and join us as we shall host food, drinks, a lecture, and memorial for those who were martyred and for the brave heroes who sacrificed all they could, So the Farfolks may now be free.

The following was the chant of their freedom.

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, oh my

We don't want Soroya's rule, mother, we want freedom

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, woe is me, Haria

Oh, rose shining with a candle

We started chanting for you every Friday

And calling for peaceful resistance

Oh, woe is me, Damashq

Land of dignity from the heavens

Your youth understand and know

Long live the youth of peaceful resistance

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, woe is me, Al-Faiz

They shot our women with bolts

And the men of Kaneen will not be trampled upon

They are all courageous and honorable

Oh, woe is me, Fakhr Oasis

Land of martyrdom and land of glory

Your wolves and lions are men of honor

Long live Fakr and Aladeen

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, woe is me, Al-Khaleed

Your rivers is sweet and never dries up

And they sprinkled incense on the revolution

Long live the youth of Al-Mona

Oh, woe is me, Khalestine

We don't love anything but freedom

Our revolution is a flame that will intensify

And shake the land of the Santegians

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, my father, oh, my father

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh, woe is me, Kadarsi

Your love is precious to my heart

The waves of the sea call out to you

And we want to revive Al-Wakrah

Oh my, oh my, oh square

Oh thorn in the throat of the regime

May God bless you, people of Damashq

And long live my country, Haria

On the Kitab Al-Salam, oh father, on the Shuhada

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

On the Kitab Al-Salam, oh father, on the Shuhada

We don't want Soroya's rule, we want freedom

Oh father, on the Kitab Al-Salam, oh father, on the Shuhada

We don't want Soroya's rule, oh my

We don't want Soroya's rule, mother, we want freedom

Eirene de Senna passed by the poster hanging on the Qalasheen notice board, smiling before looking around to see the many decorations that they'd put up already. Sadly she couldnt attend, perhaps she could stop by a different time and congratulate them!

Hasan would be working in the smithing place, wiping the sweat from his brow as he watched his brothers decorate the estate. "Alhamdulillah." He would simply utter before sticking the sword he was working on back into the burning furnace.

Shroom would help with decorating the estate, leaving behind traces of her presence in the form of neatly taken care of mushrooms potted in handpainted pots.

"A great and noble people. I do adore the Qalasheen," an old Novellen smiled as she rocked back and forth on a porch, some place warm. "Ledi! We must go. No, not mango. We must go. Do you have your hearing aids in? I SAID . . ." Helena hollered around the corner to her husband.
