Long has it been, since our storied kin has sat beneath one roof, or shared story over meal or duel over insult. Long since the time of the Orenian Empire and it’s fall, has our House of old been split, clashing with one another over one issue or another.

 

All of my childhood, I had been raised with dislike and disdain for our distant kin to the South, in Balian. To distrust their intentions, spit upon their accomplishments and swat their hand if ever offered friendship or peace. But as I pen this letter in my advanced age, I have realized my fatigue, of fighting and animosity between these two Houses of one blood.

 

With that said, shall this missive serve as invitation, to ALL who hold the Ruthern name, old and new, once-Haeseni or once-Balianese. I invite you all to Kastell Hamaracz, within the Karoslund of Norland, as is befitting my station as it’s Hetman. There we shall sit, as one blood under one roof, to have dinner and speak, and finally settle any lingering issues between our two lines.
