A Wyrm Hatched

Hearken, all ye sons of Man, for in the Fort Adelhil on the banks of the river Rhône, following a laborious birth by the Lady-Baroness, two hatchling Wyrms, black of hair and grey of eye through the strength of dragonsblood, have been borne to the world. In the cold halls on the fringe of the Tochtenwald, the twin drakes have been raised with care by their parents, taught the Codex Draconis, to be loyal to their Emperor, and to protect always their kin.

Now do Horen Remus Helane, senior by the merest of margins, and Trajan Godfrey Helane, face their trials to take their place as blooded, oathed pages of the Blackwyrm Company. The House of Helane rejects any notion of birthright alone meriting their station as heir and lord respectively, and in respecting the tradition of the Codex Draconis set in stone, their judgement and worth must be evaluated.

Should these challenges be met, let all of Man know that they will be recognised openly as Helane, bearing the name and its burdens in full, and granted place within the house and within the draconis-atrium. Should either fail, know they will bear no name, nor claim, title, or position within our house, and their blood will remain unspoken in record and in rights.

Let their names be known otherwise to the world, born in the year of our Lord 2050 the twin Wyrms:
