“Rittersberg deserves leadership grounded in action, not ambition alone.

Our capital is not a prize to be claimed, nor a single storefront to be occupied. It is a living city, sustained by merchants, craftsmen, laborers, and families who rely on fair opportunity and steady governance. Public office must serve the whole of the city, ensuring prosperity flows through every district, not just one door.

As mayor, I pledge to:

• Expand commercial districts to increase foot traffic and opportunity for independent merchants
• Review and improve underused civic and storefront properties to better serve public trade
• Strengthen cooperation between guilds, vendors, and city offices through proven IBA practices
• Establish regular festivals, exhibitions, and public markets to energize commerce year round
• Position Rittersberg as the leading economic capital of the Empire through deliberate growth

I believe public office is a trust, not an entitlement. It must be used to expand opportunity, protect the common good, and strengthen the foundations upon which our city stands. Prosperity should be cultivated deliberately, shared widely, and guided by steady hands rather than private interest. My work has always been rooted in stewardship, cooperation, and the conviction that a capital must serve all who build it.

In recent seasons, while others have reshaped civic spaces for private use, I have worked to widen the circle of commerce. New stalls have opened. New shops have taken root. New partnerships have formed through the Imperial Business Association. Where there was empty stone, there is now trade. Where there was silence, there is now movement.As Steward, I have already begun the work.

The Chastel Plan
To improve the economic prospects of the mercantile class within Rittersburg, the Office of the Stewardry has ordered a review of all storefronts, stalls, and shops to determine their viability and possible conversion into spaces more suitable for the health of our city.  

Under the guidance of the steward Sebastian Jean-Chastel, a number of building and investment projects have been initiated. This municipal economic plan, hereafter named “The Chastel Plan”, aims to revitalize the city and invite a higher density of foot traffic around strategically-located shopping districts.

Notice I: A new shopping district, located beneath the city square, accessible in a direct line from the city entrance, is now open for vendors. Of the eight venues available, four have already been claimed- LOCATIONS ARE SELLING QUICKLY, BUY YOURS NOW!

Notice II: The Office of the Imperial Exchequer has been reclaimed by the Office of the Stewardry. The lower floors have been converted into a commercial property, while the Exchequer-owned shops are to be refilled by the Office of the Stewardry.
