All the Squires of Idunia (and all others versed with a horse) are hereby invited to attend and participate amidst their fellow aspirants in a most gallant horse race. For it is one necessity of a Knight to master horsemanship, so that they may answer the call to carry out their duty as swiftly as they are able.

We ask that any and all Squires, Pages, Warriors, and Knights within the Kingdom of Idunia participate to make this race as grand as possible. It may very well account towards your achievements for Knighthood if one should win, and a Trophy shall be given to the Victor. (Assuming you have yet to achieve such.)

 

You will also be aiding I, Sylfrid Anicia Colborn in achieving Knighthood for hosting this race is the last achievement I need in order to become the Squire of the Former Arch-Duke of Rivense.

Bring your fastest horses and adorn them beautifully, for it is for their own glory and honor that they participate. Once more our stallions and mares will prove themselves to be our most dependable allies in times of peace and conflict.

On a mission - Dominic reads the missive with a deep hum. With a puff of his cigarette, he rolls it up and stores it deep into his pouch. "Sounds fun at least." Thus, he refocuses.

From within the confines of Haus Theonus' manor, one Lukas von Theonus cackles at the missive he'd brought home. "Look at her go!" he says to an uninterested servant. "She's got zhe right spirit, zhat is for sure! Ich cannot vait to attend und see who wins. Zhere hasn't been ein gutte horse race in AGES!" he exclaims as he pins the missive to a wall within the hearth of the home, for all to see.

The invitation wound up on the desk of the Duchess of Vohenheim, who read over the details with a proud smile. "Well done, Sylfrid. Shame Ich won't be in attendance, but Ich am sure it'll be fun." She placed the invitation to the corner of the desk, sure to pass it on to someone who might support her niece in her stead.
