 Ten years ago, on the first day of the First Seed, @Smaw posted something that quietly changed the Uzg: he gave the orcs a sky.
 

 Not borrowed stars. Not Orenian astrology with a coat of green paint. What Smaw put together was something actually built for all orc players— seven constellations, three paths through the sands, a system of reading fate that felt like it had always been there, sitting somewhere under the roots just waiting to be named. That's a lot harder to pull off than it sounds. A lot of lore feels tacked on, without a second thought, but this one felt a lot deeper than what appeared on the surface.

 It's been carried forward through migrations, new ages, warclaims, and all the usual chaos spanning Aos/Eos. Players still reference it. That says something.

 The tool itself is pretty simple to use — drop in a name, pick your calendar system, month, day, sand path, and it'll hand you a full reading straight from the original lore. Birth sign, spirit alignment, sand path nature...

 There's also a second function, the Realm Chart, which maps a character's birth against the cosmological wheel — Aos, Eos, the transition worlds scattered between them. Each chart comes out different. Even one day's difference can reshape it.

March 1st, 2026 marks ten years since the original post. It felt wrong to let that go by without doing something with it. Lore this good shouldn't just sit in a thread getting older — it should actually get used, at the campfire, at the birth of a kub, wherever it fits.

This is built entirely on Smaw's work. Nothing here is original to me except the format in which you're experiencing it.
