And only after some days had gone by did the Bleeding Tongue look back over that bridge, a final check to see her work was done. She did not want to kill him, in truth, but some crimes can't be forgiven, or forgotten. A prayer was muttered as she spotted the corpse near Alduun "Brir akt yer, kinslayer. Fer yer sake, I hope I was wrong, that yer god is real. But he's nae, and yer likely in flames.. rest well"

Aled walked alone, back to Tir-Glas with a heavy heart and a heavier mind. Never would he have thought that he would be faced with the loss of one of his own. Someone who had given years of their life to Tir-Glas, showing unbreakable loyalty throughout the years.

His memory was lost, yet as he carried the body of Fod back to Formindon, he couldn't do anything but remember. The fleeting moments, the quick chats they shared when he was still a boy. All of it was forgotten through the years. And he wished it had stayed gone, because now, with every time he looked downwards towards the limp body in his arms, he was forced to remember. Forced to feel guilt and shame for a murder he knew nothing about until just moments ago, and forced to carry the weight of losing one of his people to the unfair rules of the world.

In the training grounds of Formindon, Aled stood above Fod's
corpse, a torch in hand. There was no ceremony to be held here. There was no big event to mourn the loss of Tir-Glas' best. Just a guilt-riddled man, having to bear the weight that comes with being a leader.

The torch fell, sending the goblin's body into a small blaze of glory. His final words, "Mae'n ddrwg gen i, Fod. Gobeithio dy fod ti'n rhydd nawr, a bod gen ti ffrind hapus ar ôl marwolaeth." The Glennmaer turned his back to the flame, unable to watch as he sent a long-lost friend to the afterlife in the only way he knew how.
