Seva 624 Share Posted March 30 15th of Sun’s Smile D. C. XL. VII. TO HIS HOLINESS, CAIUS II, AS BARONESS OF THE NEWLY FORMED BARONY OF STERNFELL, I have chosen this land claim for only one purpose. The Mountains that once contained Urguan similarly contain the Silver Isle’s Scourge to the coast. As I once served His Imperial Majesty, Hadrian I, in undermining our enemies to the Southwest, so too shall I serve as a bulwark against our foes to the Southeast. I am gladdened that they are not mortal, for I need not veil my actions in mercy. Sternfell will hold the coast, and the gateway into the mountains, forming the front line by which the forces of GOD may march. I call upon those with nowhere else to go, the wayward Elves and Halflings, the broken Belethians. Renew your purpose against Darkness. Swear yourself to this Crusade, and perhaps you can win a home amidst your conquerors. To those of other lands, Sternfell will serve as a staging ground for our grand Crusade. I open my doors gladly, a merry host to those who would safeguard our realm. Allow my lands to sate your spirit. Allow my home to be yours. Allow the Empire of Azuras to hold the line. Kardika 1058 Share Posted March 30 "da line might be held better if Imperial burgundy didn't spread em'selves so thin with conquest" The Salvian mused after reading the missive.
Nectorist 12871 Share Posted March 30 Hold the line, you heart souls of Sternfell. The host of the living nears; the Kingdom of Virtue does not abandon its people. Thinks the Vicar of God.
dev_clark 284 Share Posted March 30 From the precipice of her tower did Aurelia see the missive. Serene lips quirked into a faint smile, perhaps one of pride or curious. Either of which, her heart would go out to that so dear of her brother. The Baroness of Sternfell had proven herself family. Thus, this little star whispered to a mechanical dove perched 'pon her windowsill. "Do you see this, little Charles? Protectors of all, in strength, in courage, in righteousness. How brave," said she, voice akin to melodic chords, only for her and her birdling to hear.
TheWyrdWolf 1532 Share Posted March 30 Hold the Line. A simple enough task, surely? Though as the days drag on and the nights grow longer with the mournful howls of the dead and demonic yonder the narrow sea. Perhaps there would be a moment of pause in your mind? A flutter in your heart, as if skipping a beat. The Barony of Sternfell. She had heard the name before, read it in the numerous missives passed to her by mortal agents. Under a moonless sky the Witch and her entourage make the crossing, setting foot upon the southern shores under the cover of darkness. She had a simple task, a Disciple of Chaos, an Agent of Ruin - she would test the line of Sternfell. Would they buckle, or would they break? Spoiler I'm excited to RP with you all, and look forward to the conflict narratives to come <3 Much love.
