Since my youth, I have been blessed enough to reside within the lands of the Galahars of the north, who took me and my siblings in at our lowest and worked to raise us up to proper and loyal men and women of the Empire, and now it is my desire to represent Ghaestenwald in the Burgherraad, repaying a longstanding debt to the House of Galahar.

 

For many years, I worked under their Second Son Trading company, learning the art of horse ranching under their tutelage; Ghaestenwald Coursers and Highland Rouncey's were hardly an uncommon sight in the early years of the Empire's reign upon Azuras, and I proved no stranger to getting my hands dirty in the mines and fields of the land. I grew up among the Galahars. The past few years I have dedicated myself to assisting the Imperial war effort's supply train, even when circumstances kept me away from the field. Those who know me, know that I am a dedicated man. Now, I wish to dedicate myself to building for the future of the Empire's peoples.

 

By trade, I am a soldier, a merchant, a rancher.

 

The teachings imparted upon me by the men and women of Ghaestenwald; self-reliance, industriousness, economic acumen; I now intend to put to use representing these honourable Crows in His Imperial Majesty's government. Allow me the privilege of representing you.

I will not pretend to be a politician. I am a soldier, one who has spent years in service to Sir Antonius, purging darkspawn from his lands and standing watch over his people. That is my qualification. Not words, not ambition, but years of work with the sword.

I came to Valmont with little to my name. What I found here was a lord worth serving and a people worth protecting. I will never forget that. I’m a close companion of Sir Antonius, and I’m dedicated to serving his people. What I promise, I deliver. Valmont does not need another man of fine words, it needs a man of action. 

 

My agenda will consist mainly of providing for the veterans and soldiers of the Duchy of Valmont. You, my friends, have served in many wars of the Imperium - it is time you were rewarded for it. Pensions, farm land, and other compensation should be granted to the veterans of the Empire for their service.

I am Herald of Reinmar, word of our chief in all things diplomacy, I am a Knight, and a Templar of the Order of Saint Tylos Stallion of Reinmar. Eldest member of the Herrenhaus. I have served in my position through two different princes of Reinmar, through three Emperors, it was I, along with my cousin Lambert von Brandthof who negotiated with the most honourable Tiberias I, of Reinmar's submission to this great Empire. Thusly do I know how to handle all things diplomacy. Many a darkspawn, halfman and greenskin did fall by my hands. Thusly do I know the art of war and strength. Years of wisened knowledge of our ancestors courses through my veins. Thusly do I know of the great skalds and legends of the Tribes Theoderic and Gelimar. Likewise I serve as an Ambassador.
