Reikenor and its ungodly thralls have grown bolder in their attempts to taint our divine mandate - reports have reached my office of an assault soon upon Ildon. This blight has been allowed to fester in the shadows unchecked for far too long.

The Empire shall pursue the total, unforgiving eradication of all Maleficar from our continent. 

 

To the Mother Church, our forces are wholly pledged: the Black Church and Black Sepulchre shall cease to exist, alongside its tainted filth.

In the greenhouse of Edrica, Aurelian sits reading and rereading that Imperial missive. In the past few years, she had come to love that land, to call it home. Though along with that feeling of finally belonging somewhere, her nerves rose up from deep sleep. Endlessly was the stream of tea and peppermint leaves to calm her nerves, as rumor of destruction loomed ever near. As Kusi and Maeril raised defenses, as her and her father delivered aurum to the Adrian smiths.

 

The missive she held was enough for that constant flow of peppermint to ease, for she grew up knowing Imperial might. She grew up trusting that next Emperor, for his kindness unto her was a light in darkness, something he probably never even realized.
