To all our Mali’fenn kin of honoured Bloodline and bloodless alike:

The following missive is to declare that the dishounorable Lyun Sylric is hereby banished from all Fennic lands and prohibited from communication with any and all Mali’fenn or affiliates with the Fennic Remnants, excepting the council to immediately follow.

The Sylric has but one chance to appear before the Archonic council for judgement before kin and Wyrvun. Should this summons not be answered then they will forfeit their right to life and will be declared Kill on Sight with a bounty of Two-Hundred and Fifty minae.

The following are the crimes that are accused:

Attempted Murder,
Threats,
Aystra’isvin.

The Atmorice Bloodline now exercises its right to summon the Archonic council.

Núron Atmorice,

Archon of the Atmorice Bloodline, Wyrvun’s Most Devoted Follower.

Ilith Sylric-Kaeronin did not move at first when the words settled before her, her eyes fixed upon the parchment as though, if she stared long enough, it might change. It did not. The silence in the chamber deepened, pressing in around her as the meaning took hold, slow and suffocating.

Her breath caught, shallow.

“No…” it came barely above a whisper, not in defiance, but in quiet disbelief that had already begun to break.

Her gaze traced the lines again, more carefully now, as if searching for error, for excess, for anything that might soften it. There was none. Each word was deliberate. Each sentence carried the weight of full truth. The justice has spoken.

Banished. Forbidden. Summoned. Judged.

Kill on Sight.

Her hand tightened, just slightly, the parchment trembling not from anger, but from something far more fragile.

“Lyun…” she whispered again, and this time the name hurt. A long breath left her, uneven.

“I told you…” she murmured, voice low and strained. “I told you something was wrong. That someone had their hold on you.” -=- “That they have corrupted your mind with ridiculous thoughts”

Her eyes lowered, and for a moment she could not bring herself to read further, as though the accusations themselves were something alive, something watching.

“I could not find the person who tainted your mind. I could not reach you.” A pause, heavier than the last. “And now this is what remains, just a broken reality.” Another breath, trembling at its edge. Her voice faltering, shaking as her words were fractured. “To be hunted by your own kin… it pains me”

Her lips parted, but no words came for a moment.
“I was meant to keep you from this,” she said instead, spoken softly now, the weight turning inward. “I saw you changing before my very own eyes, and still… I failed to stop it.” -=- “ I have failed you, my child… I failed as a mother”

Her fingers loosened, the parchment lowering slightly, as though she no longer had the strength to hold it as firmly. Fear lingered there now, unspoken but present. Not for herself.

Ilith remained there, still as stone, the missive at her side, her expression no longer composed but worn by something deeper, something quieter. Only sorrow, depression, and the heavy, unyielding acceptance of a justice she could not deny, even as it took her dearest little child from her.
