StingyParrot 1595 Share Posted May 6 Spoiler The below recipes are to be added to War-Forging! I know adding more potions is considered a MArt, though it has been done so (Shadowforging) before without one and I personally think the waiting-time on a MArt + the 3 month cooldown for a Different Metal Aesthetic is a bit odd. alchemy bloat my beloved SEAFORGING Sea-Forged potions grant an aqueous effect to an item. If the oil is applied once, the item will appear as if underwater, with light refracting and rippling like a sunlit pool. Should a second application be placed on the item, thin ribbons of water, mist or seafoam will manifest and swirl about its surface. Recipe: Base: Oilx1 Mundane: Light x2 Mundane: Clarity x2 Mundane: Endurance x1 Water: Grace x3 - This cannot be applied to Ironwood, Fulgurglass, Arcanium, Azhl, Rokodra, Morion or Resonantium. - This can be applied to Carbarum, Boomsteel, Lunarite and Thanhium. It retains physical tells to their composition; such as Carbarum’s oceanic colour, Lunarite’s ability to glow, and Thanhium’s misty frost still lingers around the metal. The application of the oil cannot obscure the identity of the metal. - The item must be let to rest out by the ocean, for [1] narrative hour, allowing its effects to only appear on the material's surface. SKYFORGING Sky-Forged potions grant a windy effect to items. Visible, translucent wind will surge about the weapon, though can be colored if dye is added to the recipe. This wind is at most comparable to a faint breeze. The metal itself remains unchanged, though if the oil is applied a second time, the metal’s ‘grain’ - the patterns formed during forging - will ripple subtly, as if affected by wind. Recipe: Base: Oilx1 Mundane: Peace x3 Mundane: Purity x2 Air: Agility x4 Optional: Dye x1 - This cannot be applied to Ironwood, Fulgurglass, Arcanium, Rokodra, Morion or Resonantium. - This can be applied to Azhl, Carbarum, Boomsteel, Lunarite and Thanhium. It retains physical tells to their composition; such as Azhl’s grey-ish hue, Carbarum’s oceanic colour, Lunarite’s ability to glow, and Thanhium’s misty frost still lingers around the metal. The application of the oil cannot obscure the identity of the metal. - The item must be placed out in the open above cloud level, for [1] narrative hour, allowing its effects to only appear on the material's surface.
Urrufu 22 Share Posted May 6 would be really cool if skyforging could also have times of day themes too. Dawn, noon, dusk, night. Though maybe that would be its own paint all together... Timeforging :O

Venomous_Pup 2978 Share Posted May 7 My only suggestion imo is to make Sea Forging a general 'Water Forging' so people can have a bit more freeformity to it without having to make 'River Forging' or 'Lake Forging' or w/e else.
Lbunz120 41 Share Posted May 7 im unsure if its been suggested but maybe natureforging would be an interesting concept too? perhaps images of roots appearing over the blade of it having a greenish hue with it? shrugs
