Hello! This is a recruitment post for the Praeterian Fleet, a project that I started a while back and abandoned. I am picking it back up now! LOTC has a distinct lack of PIRATE/naval rp, and I wish to change that! 

 

Without having to read the full culture post, the Praeterian Fleet is essentially a mix of different races and cultures – meaning you can make any type of character you want! Make a goblin mage, an orphaned human; as long as you enjoy sailing and want to do pirate rp! 

 

I will be holding player events every now and again that allow us to sail instead of being just landbound sailors. You also do not have to make a new persona – if you have a persona you don’t play anymore but wanna revive with a new story, this is a public missive!

Where have you gone?

My brothers, my sisters. We once sailed far and wide, and the seas were ours; but now, we are scattered nobodies in this vast, grounded realm. 

I, too, have become a nobody. Captain Silas, Admiral Silas; I am just Silas now.

 

The loss of my dear friend Salem has stricken me greatly. I feel aimless, and though I smile, I have never felt so land-bound. 

And often, I go to the shore, and imagine our ships sailing out into the blue.

 

But I cannot give up. 

 

The ultimate dream, the way of the wanderer – the way of the sailor. I cannot lose it; I refuse to be land-bound for this long. My brothers, my sisters, my parents and children; let the Family gather once more. 

 

I hope and trust that this message shall find some of you – or, if it instead reaches other, lost souls, then I welcome you to join me. Forget your past connections, forget what life on land has been, and sail without a care in the world. Write to Silas; you are welcome here, O wayward soul. 

 

Let the winds fill the sails; let the compass point north.
