Moonforging
Enchanting Moon Blade: A Magical Sword in the Night

Moon-Forged potions grant a moonlight glow effect to an item, with the edges being brighter than the others – showcasing that it isn’t perfectly even. It carried a several dark spots to it as if various craters were scattered within the outer layer of the metal, hidden amidst the glowing hue, akin to the moon from the skies. Created by an ancestral Maehr of Maehrel-Vaxu, to be displayed in faith towards the mother moon, the strange alchemical draught can be used for the treating of blades, or tattoos, though due to it's rare status, one must meet an ancestral elf of such faiths to learn the ways of Moonforging.

Recipe:

Base: Oilx1

Mundane: Light x3

Mundane: Darkness x2

Mundane: Vigour x2

Mundane: Endurance x4

- This cannot be applied to Ironwood, Arcanium, or Rokodra.

- This can be applied to Azhl, Carbarum, Lunarite, Boomsteel and Thanhium. It retains physical tells to their composition; such as Azhl’s grey-ish hue, Carbarum’s oceanic colour, Lunarite’s ability to glow, and Thanhium’s misty frost still lingers around the metal. The application of the oil cannot obscure the identity of the metal.

- The item must be let to rest out in the dark of a cloudy night, only granted light by the moon, for [1] narrative hour, allowing its effects to only appear on the material's surface.
- With the addition of white dye to the recipe, the material this is applied upon will appear bleached and white, albeit retaining tells of its original composition as described.
- Moonforging requires an accepted Alchemy application, and requires being taught the technique in character, as a subsect of Warforging.

Can it or can it not go on Lunarite? Make up your mind.

Spoiler

I'm just kidding, it's a great addition and that's just a mistake from other war forging in the past
