We have 100+ people in our Discord server, but I do not have a good pulse on who still plays here. I will rely on people replying to this thread with their character and username to see who is still active and interested if that is OK with staff.

There is much more than this from the current era of the Republic. I would ask anyone replying with their character's intent to join, to also link their favorite Salvian forum topic!

 

 

 

Lair Build and Infrastructure (photos required, give dimensions):'

 

If we have any chance at getting a lair (waiting for staff to confirm before spending money commissioning a builder), we will have a small star fort and then most of our build will be an underground bunker.

 

Why can this group not fulfill their roleplay niche in an existing settlement or nation? (Give a detailed answer and examples of how this has not worked in the past.):

 

We have been warclaimed out of existence. Nobody will take us. We are ready to fight more, so if we get warclaimed again, we want a chance to die fighting. That being said, we want peace; we want to hide and do our roleplay. Trying to take the Salvian people group into hiding and exile. We would be a secret fortress just trying to live under the radar and avoid conflict.

 

How does this lair add to the greater world around it? How will its existence benefit its roleplay group and the server at-large?:

 

Salvo offers a niche that is not really fulfilled: a true Republic. For people interested in this type of roleplay, we do not have anywhere to go. We are nationless, settlementless, lairless. Given the power of the Empire and its ability to delete any roleplay it dislikes, we are going into hiding as a lair. We will benefit the server by offering serious Republic roleplay and fulfilling a niche that nobody else does. Expect elections, drama, assassinations, civil wars, etcetera. Given the chance, we will happily grow and become something worth remembering, but given the domination that the Empire presently has over the server, we have no choice but to start off as a hidden lair that can evade the Empire via hiding.

Let them hope that some groups can get lairs if they REALLY need it without being the bbeg for a bit before squawk shoots them.
