"Greetings friends, I've written this today to enlighten you all on a recent wedding between two elves."

Voak's Story

"Voak is a two hundred and eleven year old elf from Raven Hold. He spent the first part of his life in the mines there, but at the age of one hundred and six he left Raven Hold to explore the world. He has since returned to Malinor, but the Raven Hold mine collapse drove him to Laurelin. He currently the general manager of the Treetop Inn and writes poetry in his spare time."

Alys's Story

"Having lost the forest she previously called home, Alys set foot in Malinor with apprehension and anguish. Many of the her first months were spent secluded in the wilds surrounding Laurelin, until the day she stumbled upon the Treetop Inn. The lone elf had no idea how many doors would swing open and invite her into their foreign rooms. In that humble lodge Alys came to find the warmth of friendship, face challenges to both her character and her sanity, and finally, meet her beloved mate."

"Alys & Voak were wed in the bright of sun, just south of Serpent Ridge in Malinor. They spoke of their devotion for another in the company of friends. It was apparent, their fondness for one another. It seemed the sun shown brightest on them. The group admiring them throughout the ceremony. A get together was held at the Malin Sister community center and smiles were shared by many."

*Shakes his head*

Damn it all. I was too late. These two are great friends of mine, and I missed their extremely special day.

Sorry, I hope I can make it up to them.
