Well guys, Ravenhold is a Elven city, as you probably know.. There is a railway to it, and many things indicating it exists. However, I have never seen another Elf, or player here.. I've been thinking, and why not try to revitalize it? I mean, we have the ravenhold tree. Maybe the Druids could host some form of Nature Festival or something akin to that. If I get some support on this, I'll try bringing it to the Druids themselves and seeing if anything could be done.

I love this city, and I hope it'll see better days.

Random brainstorimg: It's aroud Christmas.. Maybe some lunar festival based around it. Will be updated with more thoughts later.

The main problem with Minecraft towns is that there are about 1000+ (semi)active players who all wwant medium-sized homes to store all their stuff, but only a maximum of 300 players can be online at any given time (and mostly it's about 100)

which means that at least 70% of houses will be abandoned at all times. And because players like to flock together, everywhere but the king's road and Al'Khazar will only be passed through by most players, leaving it devoid of RP.

Town-based events work temporarily (like Dunfest) but don't provide permanent population. Most likely the new map will have towns with less towns and houses far more cluttered together (this was common in medieval times) to force the idea of a tightly packed populace.

Ahh, good point.. I mean, Ravenhold is such a interesting city, but there needs to be some form of draw, know what I mean? something to show it's a center of culture and taste, that good stuff. Museums, Academiess, that good stuff.

Or maybe it's just doomed to be dead.
