Do Orcs die of old age?

I'm confused if they are or not. People say they die of old age, but the lore says otherwise.

Post an answer.

"Elves are the longest living of the Descendant races" 'Nuff said. No argument, Orcs have a shorter lifespan than Elves. They die of old age before Elves do.

((The official statement, that I read once, is that they're between humans and dwarfs, though they seem to tilt more towards dwarves.

However, the Orc culture shows that with the amount of fighting they partake in, any Orc that becomes even slightly old and loses his edge will die rather quickly. Can you call that 'old age'? Not quite.))

The only thing i have heard is that the only race that dies from age is the humans whatever the age.

The only race that dies from old age is the human race. Its just that elves age the most gracefully, they tend to gain wisdom with age despite their slowing down. Older orcs would be slower, and would most likely get killed off once they cant keep up.

Dwarves just kinda vanish due to cave ins and getting eaten, or just alcohol poisoning.

That's not because of age, it's because of culture. Orcs die sooner because they fight more, not because of old age. Your quote only further proves this because it does not specify how they die.
