I am an avid Minecraft player. I am a nerd (unbeknownst to many, apparently) who loves computers, math, science, and music; I have a decent grasp of html, css, and javascript, and am somewhat experienced in Java (as my avatar suggests) and Python. Despite my age, I am very mature.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

For the summer, usually 2-12 hours on weekdays and ~4 hours on weekends. Once school starts again, I'm not sure how long I'll be able to play, but hopefully at least 1-2 hours every other day and more on the weekend.

-How long have you played minecraft?:

I have been playing since January 2011, so 5 months.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?:

I know a fair amount of roleplaying because I used to be active on a roleplaying forum when I was younger. I also roleplayed on the now-dead WowCraft SMP.

-What do you expect this server will be like?:

I think the server will be exquisite. I have spent several hours today on it, and, even as a wandering soul, enjoyed it very much. Therefore, I can say that "I know" that it will be excellent.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I first played on minecraftserver.com, but left due to the lack of adminship and some other huge griefing problems. After that, I helped administrate some friends' servers, but those died primarily because the friend lost interest in Minecraft. Most recently, I was on WowCraft SMP, which died a terrible death of bad admins, neglect, and general badness.

Yes and yes.

I was looking at the LB Photo Realism thread to see if there were any updates on fixing memory problems. I saw the link to the Lord of the Craft Minecraft Forum thread, followed it, and was interested ;D.

-Biography:

Araik doesn't remember too much about his early childhood because he had the stereotypical hero amnesia thing. What he does remember is that he had good, loving parents who were killed by assasins on a hunting trip.

Araik still did what normal elven youngsters did and was educated. He also learned combat from outings with friends. A good portion of his group of "friends" weren't even elves, so Araik learned to accept all races, regardless of how the race is though of in a general sense (the fact that his parents' assassin's race was unknown also helped).

Araik was unique from other elves because he enjoyed doing some things that most elves wouldn't enjoy. Specifically, he was decent at using axes in combat (bows are still the best, though) and he used to enjoy mining -- that is, until a human friend of his was killed in a mining accident involving gravel, lava, and some creepers. He still enjoys popular elven activities such as farming, previously mentioned use of a bow in combat, herbalism, and generally trying to be peaceful.

Araik, because of his schooling, can read and write well. He enjoys studying ancient elven texts, specifically ones about the creations of Aegis.

Araik is young (in elfish terms) and strong. He is fairly agile. He wears leather armour with some pieces of iron, and has a prominent green hood that is always down,

Araik is educated and generally kind. When provoked into combat, he will try to avoid it, but is not afraid of entering combat to defeat those who are unjust.

-Your ambitions:

Araik doesn't really want fame or glory. Instead, he wants to be respected and for every race to be peaceful and accepting.

Araik can read and write well.

Araik has some ability to mine, but doesn't like to because of his friend.

Yes.

If needs be, but Araik is better with an axe and even better with a bow

Araik isn't the best at farming but he still enjoys it.

Araik is special because he has un-elven habits such as the ability to use an axe in combat despite being an elf. Other than that, Araik has no special skills.
