((Was an interesting attack on Sister City. But the one nagging problem was the flying undead characters. The only way they could be hit was with arrows. Which in other games isn't a big deal, but arrows are not terribly easy to make.

If I understand the motive correctly, the idea was to instill fear into Aegeans. But in reality all it did was make it a bit frustrating. As a DM IRL, I like to make events in my sessions that allow for every type of character to shine at all possible, so I really felt for the melee characters (mainly the orcs) that wanted a good fight.)

But other then that, it was a pretty cool event. Everything on fire really set the mood. I think a few more fireballs here and there to make a little more damage for the aftermath would have been cool.))

Um, flying? Not a single actual undead had any flymod of godmod on. Liri, AFTER DYING, started flying and taking screens some, I had thought she /vanish'd though.

((There was a couple of us out of line of sight when one of the undead flew overhead and hit us with lightning. I'm not sure if it was Liri or not. I didn't know that wasn't allowed, I would have screenied it if I had.

Though one of the chunks for one of you guys might have misloaded and LoS wasn't there (could just click through the cover). The good news is, we're practically immune to lightning if our swordsman skill is over 20 due to parry, its just the fire on the ground it makes is what actually deals damage.

And speaking of fire, there needs to be a way to extinguish it, halfway through the fight the undead were up in a tree surrounded by it so no one could actually get to it to use melee weapons. Again its a minor thing, but I know the orcs that came to our aid were frustrated. as most of them don't use bows, its not part of their culture.))

*Halfhand reads the note, chuckles and walks away, but then spots the rotten arm on the ground, a mischievous thought occurs in his mind as he pulls his hood up, grabs the limb and hits a passing orc with it, laughing uncontrollably*

More fights, more loot!

*falls over laughing as he gets beaten by the orc*

*The hero with a thousand faces emerges*

The Undead recently attacked Galahar and I stood strong and tall in the face of utter destruction along with my fellow brothers of the Shad'Rin.

The Undead threw everything they had at me, lightning, fire balls and hordes of their minnions yet I survived and pushed on through the savage battle. The battle was long and strenuous but alas I managed to face the Undead with valor and courage. Charging into battle, I watched every one of my men fall around me till it was only I standing in the midst of chaos. In the face of almost sure destruction, I stood strong and unrelenting. I was beginning to make my final assault against this Undead foe. I charged in and was struck multiple times with lightning. I quickly took cover as being hit with so many lighting strikes and fireballs had all but destroyed my armour. I waited till the lightning stoped and then made my final charge but alas, the Undead scourge had used this last barrage of lightning to distract me while the fled seeing that nothing they could throw at me would stop my unrelenting assault. As I stood there alone in the now ruined town of Galahar, I thought to myself, I may have drove the Undead away but the town lay in ruins. Surely this will not go down as a victory for the people of aegis but has atleast has shown me my true potential as a warrior and hero. I will continue to fight the Undead at every turn and never relent as will the rest of the brave and honorable Shad'Rin. Anyone wishing to help stop this scourge should join up with the Shad'Rin to make Aegis a safer place.
