Greetings Elves of Malinor,

With recent events, our safety in the Holy Princedom of Malinor has been compromised. Undead attacks have nearly destroyed Sister City and Ravenhold, our neighbors to the north have grown increasingly agitated during the short reign of peace, and disorder and chaos have even gripped the streets of Laurelin proper.

It is because of this that the former High Prince Native has erected these barracks within the heart of our blessed city of Laurelin. Within these barracks will dwell the Laurelin Vanguard.

Deltaro Black the Mage was orginally tasked with the creation of the Vanguard and he named Viscount Ebs of Fionn and myself, Sythra Duskwind as his seconds. With recent events, Deltaro has since handed the Command of the Vanguard over to Ebs. However with the High Prince stepping down, and Ebs rising to the title of Prince, the Command has fallen to me.

I take the task of safeguarding Laurelin very seriously. I have sweated, struggled and even Bleed for this city in the past months. I was present to see the devastation of Sister City and I swear you all I will do everything in my power to ensure that does not befall our holy city of Laurelin.

What I require now is the support of everyone. Materials, equipment, foodstuffs, and most importantly, strong able bodies are all needed. We need warriors, craftsman, and anyone willing to lend a hand with any talent or skill. As per High Prince Native and Grand Highborn Quazar's orders, any race is welcome in the Vanguard. We know that there are many non-elves living in and around Laurelin and would love an opportunity to protect their homes and loved ones. Friends, I give you that chance. Show your love for Malinor and help us protect the sacred city of Laurelin.

Whether it be undead, foreign invaders, bandits, criminals, or malcontents, we will defend Laurelin and ensure safety and freedom for our culture, our homeland and our loved ones. By Malin's Grace, I swear it.

((Im curious, when I hear Vanguard I think in the traditional medieval sense, will the Elven Vanguard be similar? At the very least I am picturing a throng of elves, heavy clad in armor. It would be quite interesting if the elves were to RP as trying to grow accustomed spending all their time in a heavy loadout that they are otherwise probably foreign to.))

((Will depend on the individual. Vanguard in this since is synonymous with protector. But we'll be accepting non-elves as well so I'm sure we're have mixed types of individuals. But the Wardens typically go to war in Iron, so I'm not sure how to get heavier then that. Unless we can some how get a minecart cannon... yes... that will do nicely..)
