Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: A sometimes silent yet productive member of most communities. I prefer to lead rather than follow. I'm also very friendly, and a bit of a passifist when it comes to PvP scenarios.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 10 hours ++

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: It depends on what kind of Role-Playing I might take part in! There is forum RPing, RPG-styled RPing, and LARPing. Generally each of them just imply that you play not as the player, but as the personality of the character or avatar you're using. It's quite a hobby of mine in fact.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when your character has some sort of psychic insight in to what is happening around them. Powergaming/Powerplaying is when they have the power levels comparable to gods. Both are considered cheap in RPing.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Nothing I've experienced before in my other MineCraft servers.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

1. Heaven and Hell: Another faction server, yet it constantly refreshed after every couple weeks. Everything I worked so hard to create would constantly be destroyed... everything... I don't want that to keep happening anymore.

2. Xenonia: A vanilla server I still play on, because I have many friends in that tightly knit community.

Character Name: Illiam Rhovan "Illiam the Coward"

What is your Race?: Human

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Born of a moderately high class nobility in the Kingdom of Oren gave Illiam a pampered life while growing up. Fathered from the house of Rhovan, famed huntsmen and loyal archers to the king's hand. Mothered from the house of Arenis, a family of tradespeople and inventors. Illiam learned the trades of his parents as it was taught through family tradition, so that one day he could rise to become the head of the family. At only the age of thirteen, and Illiam was already both a successful yeoman, as well as a well known trap-maker throughout his household. And in such a high esteem, it was only necessary for his father to show off the talents of the youth in presence of the regent at that time.

Yet none of the houses could have anticipated how badly poor Illiam worked under stress. During the yearly archery tournament founded by the Rhovan house, Illiam stood as the only representative for his own household, which in fact had held the title of champion for the last two generations since the tournament's creation. Illiam's father had won the tournament at the age of thirteen, as did his father. Expectations of young Illiam's skill were indeed high, however too intense for him come the semi-finals. Over the shouts and screams of the crowd and his own father, Illiam released the twine of his bow too early, and missed the bullseye that could have won him the tournament. Now a shame to his family's lineage, the young Illiam was faced with an ultimatum. To join the royal Archery unit assigned to the King's personal, or become an exile within Oren, where only by becoming the champion of next year's archery competition could be be allowed to return. The latter soon became Illiam's choice, as he revered every aspect of warfare or murder. And so he was crowned the title 'Illiam the Coward,' and outcasted from his family, only to be replaced by his younger brother.

Putting his family aside, Illiam went in to hiding for the next decade of his life. After gossip and rumors had been released, leading to an unfair yet small bounty put on the boy's head. His hunting and trap-making skills had thus far saved his fearful life, but for how long under these circumstances he does not yet know. Illiam often hides himself under a false name while residing in inn's on the other side of town. His caution constantly leads him out of the jaws of danger, even if that vigilance might be considered fear in the eyes of others.

Living the life of a shadow is never easy. Illiam has learned to rely on underground networks to gain information for him, while always remaining as a behind the scenes conspirator. Now at the ripe age of twenty, Illiam has simply been too scared to return to town in order to attend the archery competition ~ even if nobody would actually remember or recognize who his true identity is. Perhaps one day, Illiam might stand up and lead in the spotlight, rather than walking the unseen path.

Your characters ambitions: Survival, and purpose in life. At first, Illiam's ambition was to return as a renown archer, and be once again recognized as the true heir to his family's house. However after witnessing and enduring what he has, Illiam has become almost paranoid. The other half of him wishes only to create a stronghold safe enough to protect him and his valuables, while warding away or laying waste to any who dare to seek the boy's head bounty.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Avoid conflict alltogether. Human, Elf, race matters not in Illiam's eyes, survival of the fittest! Under the context of the Elf or the bandits being associate's of Illiam's, however... the chances of him interfering by the bow and arrow would increase greatly.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Greetings, generous host. I've heard that you are in the market of slime-balls, and aren't asking customers what we're using them for... I would like to place an order." Illiam would answer rather discretely.

1. For whoever responds to my application: I wish to know how often you guys 'reset' the server? You see, the old faction server that I'm migrating here from had constantly scrapped their maps in favor of newer ones. Which resulted in my hard work making masterpieces worth ****. Is there a possibility of my creations surviving a long time if I were to join this server?

You asked how much we "reset"? Normally we do not do a map wipe, but because 1.0.0 has come out and we want to increase the RP, there will be a new map sometime this month.
