((The charter format makes it much easier to explain hoe the City would run))

TOWN CHARTER

MC Name: zac20169

RP Name: Arbrek Starbreaker

Town Name: Kalngard

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

Just an Idea I came up with, for now.

What type of political system is enforced in this town? Is this town under the reign of any other nation at this time? The town would be run with a system based on Mili's system, found HERE. We would have five clans/families, though. One for Smithing, one for Mining, one for Fighting, a Merchant/Diplomat Clan/Family, and a Farming/Building Clan/Family. Other clans or families could attempt to overthrow and replace a certain Clan with a 4/5 majority. An example I came up with:

Smithing: Starbreakers

Mining: Ironguts

Fighting: Irehearts

Diplomacy/Trading: Goldhands

Building/Farming: Frostbeards

I haven't spoken with any of these Clans mind you. In fact, the Frostbeards are starting their own town! You may ask how this would even work, I can't even fill a hypothetical chart! But I'd allow Clans/Families of other Races to join too, though. Oh, and we'd hopefully be under the reign of the Dwarves,

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.): Slightly wary of others, but very friendly with the Dwarves.

Where would you prefer the town’s region be, and how large? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map): Largish, around Jornhiem, built into a mountain, or on top of it.

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc): The architectural will be rather simple, but well made, and defensible if need be. The city would be divided into different districts, Lower District, Middle District, Upper District, the Commons, and the Noble District. The Lower District would be the slums, and house most of the taverns and bars, creating a very interesting RP atmosphere. The Middle district would be for the Middle class, medium sized and priced housing ((Above and below ground)), with the possibility of a small park. And the Upper housing would house the richer merchants and Guild-masters, and the occasional adventurer. There would be a medium sized park here, along with some underground mansions. Second to last we have the Commons. The commons would be the largest district, housing the shops, parks, high-end taverns and inns, and guild-houses. Finally, we have the Noble district, The Noble district would house the five ruling families mansions and fortresses, along with a large citadel where Council meetings would be held, and it would be used as the last line of defense. Most of the city's inhabitants will probably be Dwarves, with a smattering of other races thrown in. We would be protected by a small militia, and any militant guilds that joined.

Players who have agreed to sign this charter (15 name minimum):

i think the idea is good but you should just have one clan as the leader and just have miners workers etc. but shouldnt this be on the town apps?.

Well, I put it here because it is based around Dwarven principles, and would mostly have Dwarves in it. I wanted to get some feedback first.

((In all seriousness I seriously think it would be cool if the Starbreakers and Ironguts partnered on Smithing, Mining, etc.))

((We do that for multiple reasons. One, we are pretty good at things. Not saying we are the best but we do tend to do pretty well for ourselves and it may get to our head a bit. Two, RP wise we are quite proud and WERE here first so we could, not saying we do, take you coming in as a smaller and inexperienced smith/miner group as trying to replace us. Not saying this is the actual reasons just possibilities.))
