((Actually, we had having a vote. Braxis or Tarus.

What actually sparked this rebellion was some black cross member. He did something and like half the city erupted into arms. We chased him through the fort and he started attacking us. Impulse was there. We RP'd the whole rebellion. The crown is but a symbol. We'll forge a new one .

The Dwarfs would have broken alliance with Oren, as they dislike Gaius. Shoi told us that we should be trying to unify, so didn't a crown change actually bring us together?

Another note: No, we didn't do anything to the Orcs. The orcs attacked us first, and we simply defended ourselves.))

EDIT: ((Yes, we did it while Gaius was away. But Enor gave the kingship away while we were all away. An eye for an eye.))

I wish there was a third king who I liked.. after listening to the rebel rabble, I'm disgusted for wanting to have helped them, I may dislike the Black Cross, but at least they don't have a small pole over who is king based on the opinion of some rag tag group of misfits.

Pah. I do not care who is King or not... If I were to rally behind a king, which I would not do in any circumstance, I would do so behind Gaius. What can I say? Even through some questionable tactics, he can get things done. I might even dare to say that "questionable tactics" are strong tactics at this time.

In conclusion, I will protect my friends, whether it be against undead, Teutons, or farming equipment pieces.

((**** did attack one of my friends, though :P he told me you fell then like 15 of your boys came chasing after him :D))

You are all power hungry fools. I would have understood in a circumstance such as our past king, Enor's rule. But this? You have not given the man any chance to do his kingly duties. I have not even heard of your leader until now. That is not comforting to me. Usually those who deserve leadership EARN RENOWN. True Gaius has had his dealings with the people of Oren. He has had his dealings with me personally as well. I respected him as an advesary he led his men with such effieciency, such determination, such natural authority. I respect this man tenfold now that he was given the crown of Oren.

Cease this madness we will just be wasting men and resources to fight a pointless war. If you continue this treachery then men will fall from both sides. My oaths stand with the TRUE king of Oren. I have heard your "king" speak. He has not impressed me in the slightest. He wears a false crown and speaks only vaguely. He says that he is a king for the people, if this were true he never would have started this rebellion for his people will fall. If this false king was indeed for the people he never would have started this rebellion because he should see that the PEOPLE OF OREN have more important things to do than fight among THEMSELVES! Are the memories of Al'khazar fading from your minds already? Do you not realize Galahar is the last beacon of hope for mankind?

Gaius is the TRUE king. Your king is either a fool, a liar or both for an experienced leader would see this is a fight not worth carrying out. He would see that we must unite under one banner to survive as a whole. We face against eachother. While we are busy squabbling the undead will see our turned backs, they will see our weakness. Do not fool yourselves into thinking one side can fight on two fronts. WE MUST UNITE AND SURVIVE OR DISBAND AND PERISH. Band together under the crown of Oren and not a false one.

I have said what I wished to say, I only hope that some of you will listen, especially your "king"

Tarus is very well known. You've just never left Galahar to find out. If he wasn't famous and just a "power hungry fool", why was he previously offered these following titles, which he all rejected :

High Constable of Oren

Oren Ranger Commander

Oren Guard Captain (EST side)

Seneschal

Those are some of the highest ranking jobs in Oren.

It greatly saddens me to see Oren in such disarray, I hope you all come to your senses soon. It surely would not take the undead long to act upon this, it's exactly what they want from us.

Gaius is King, highly qualified, and that's that.

Give the man a chance before you throw up your arms and condemn our beloved country to damnation.

My cousin Eze'Keil has much to repair. He must repair the heart of the people, and bring courage to all. Let us not forget the past of the Undead. Let us not forget what happened to Snowyfields, Alstion, Al'Khazar, and now WInterfell.

LET US NOT FORGET THE LIVES THAT WERE GONE INTO FIGHTING THE UNDEAD. LET US WIN, LET US DESTROY THE TAINT THAT SURROUNDS US. IF IT IS ANYBODY, IT IS EZE'KEIL THAT WILL REPAIR THIS. SO STAND WITH ME BROTHERS AND SISTERS, AND LET US WIN BACK WHAT IS OURS!

ALL HAIL KING EZE'KEIL TARUS. KING OF OREN, AND PEACE BRINGER TO ALL.

WE WILL REPAIR OUR ALLIANCES, WE WILL DO LOTS THAT NO KING HAS DONE BEFORE..

Perhaps you misunderstood. I meant the rebels as a whole were power hungry fools. However I will say this. If he had denied all of those high ranking positions why does he go for the highest position in all of Oren eh? Perhaps this man has had his eyes on the throne this whole time and has now decided to carry out his plan with the newest king coming into power. You tell me that he isn't a power hungry fool by showing me all the lower positions he has denied in the past. All I see is a man who is going after the crown. Thus a power hungry fool *chuckles*

((Seneschal is basically as good as king. You can region just as much as the king))

Am I power hungry? Do you see me putting up my name for vote? No. He goes for the throne only because others told him he would make a better king.

((Gaius, we should get together and play some Total War together :D Yes, the RP event was improv, but it was really good improv. Aren't rp events supposed to be improv anyways?))

True you may be not putting your own name on there. But you put a man who you think has your best interests in hand up there.. I call you all power hungry fools because you are thinking short term and only short term. Our books are written in ink as well as blood. We have had countless civil wars and we still have civil wars when our last human city is in danger of falling. You rebels think only of yourselves. Not your country. Not your countrymen. Not your true king. Only yourselves you will continue to do this until Galahar has fallen. So another chapter of the foolery of men is written. We fight and squabble while our world crumbles around us and the other races look upon us and shake their heads.

((oooo you guys do medieval 2 too :D))

((PSHHHH MEDIEVAL 2. I loved that game, but I like Shogun 2 better. Rom TW was also pretty good.))

Most of the rebels were oren citizens. ((When the rebellions started, the whole friggen city went up in amrs))

How many of those rebels do you think were actually fighting for a cause they believed in or only saying they were rebels out of fear that their neighbors will come into their homes an kill them for supporting Gaius. Social sin is a powerful tool ad it is easy to get caught up in the acts of many. How do you think the citizens would feel if an army of orcs the size of the rebel citizens came into Galahar. They would beg for mercy. They would do this because they would be terrified.

The same goes for your neighbors spontaneously declaring revolution and taking up arms. You would naturally join them so you are not killed as well.
