Hello my name is Daniel and I’d like to apply for Lord of the Craft.

Q. Minecraft Account Name?

A. My Minecraft account is MrBamPow.

Q. Did you attend Minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?

A. Unfortunately I did not attend Minecon this year.

Q. How old are you?

A. I am 16 years old.

Q. Time Zone/Country of Residence?

A. I live in the Eastern Time zone (EST) and live in Canada.

Q. Do you have a good grip on the English language and good grammar?

A. I do have a good understanding of grammar and the English language.

Q. A small 2-3 sentences description of yourself.

A. I am 6’2 ft and I love outside activities and sports. My favorite sport is basketball and I can cook some dishes like pasta.

Q. How much time could you be on the server weekly?

A. In a week I’d say about 16-28 hours a week depending on school, sleep, and plans that I have.

Q. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.

A. Well I have Roleplayed in many other games before and I know the experience. What Roleplaying means to me is creating your own character that can have the features and abilities that you can have in the real world and using your imagination to create those ideas and experience it with other people.

Q. In your own words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

A. Metagaming means for someone to use information that he heard from an OCC Channel to use for his advantage. For example if someones house is being destroyed and someone shouts on an OCC Channel, the player cannot simply run back to his house if he is far away. He must act liek he does not know what's happening and face the consequences. I think Powergaming is to reach a certain destination or a certain point in a game. Like lets say in leveling games you might want to get to this city but this city you need to be level 60 but your only level 45 so you Powergame to level 60 so you can reach the city.

Q. What do you expect this server to be like?

A. I expect this server to be a big world filled with many players and just simply amazing.

Q. What other servers have you played on and why did you leave them?

A. Well this is my first RP server in Minecraft and my only other server was my friend’s. I decided to leave since it’s boring with just 2 people.

Q. How did you hear about us?

A. Well I was on some yogscast videos when I saw a Lord of the Craft trailer so I decided to check it out, the trailer looked good so I decided to apply.

A. I have voted and I am vote number 2,673.

A. My characters name is Darain Volkrak

Q. What is your Race?

A. Darain’s race is a Dwarf.

Q. Biography

A. Darian is the average height of the dwarf. He has black hair and brow eyes. He has a muscular and strong body. He wears a brown shirt and pants. He also has a black beard. He is tough and loves battle. Darain is 267 years old. He can be also kind hearted and cheerful at times. He has a tough time trusting other’s since his best friend betrayed him before. Darain was born and raised in a farm and mining factory. His father was an abusive alcoholic who beat him. Darain hated his father and his mother passed away at the age of 27. By the age 173 Darain ran away from home and settled in a shed in the forest. This forest was not very far from the city of dwarves, Kal’Urguan. He loved watching the sunset with the beautiful mountain landscape. He soon met another dwarf for whom he fell in love with. They had a child and were living a happy life. One day Darain ran into a man. This man was starving and had no hope of survival unless Darain helped him. He was a Human so Darain was threatened by this race he has never met. Kindness took over Darain and he helped out this man. Eventually Darain and the man named Orin had become best friends. But one night when Darain had went mining for diamonds, Orin had slain his wife and child. He burned down Darain’s house and left. When Darain had returned he was mortified. Darain was angered by revenge and soon he would be darkened. Fearing he would turn mad and evil he left to the mountains where he could start a new life and use his anger for battle.

Q. What are your characters ambitions?

A. Darain’s ambitions are too join the Dwarven Army and find peace.

Q. Out in the wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

A. Darain spectates the battle from far. His kind heart has told him to help the elf. He charges into battle taking down one of the bandits with his sword. Darain and the elf fight off the last bandit together. Afterwards Darain would leave without a word.

Q. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al’Khazar. “Hello my good sir!” says the shop owner. “What may I help you with today?” How does your character answer?

A. Darain will get what he needs to get, afterwards he will leave continuing on his task and journey.

A. I attached a file with my character. You might need to zoom in a little bit for a larger image. If it doesn't work for some reason let me know.
