What SPECIFIC evils does your character plan on committing? Please list the number of each Evil you would like to be considered for, and specifically when/why you need them:

1- I would need 1 for gaining a little "profit" from unsuspecting townspeople. It is the foundation of the majority of well known villains.

2a- I would desperatly need 2a to get rid of my robbery witnesses. I do not want them to report me to the authorities and get me executed. That would ruin my reputation of being a good hearted guard, instead it would make me look as I am a greedy stealing scumbag. This would include provoked and unprovoked murders. Assassinations would need to be represented here so I may take out individuals who oppose my two sided ways.

Biography (Between 2-5 paragraphs. No walls of text, please):

Kaneous grew up in the north. Far past the northern border of Oren, he lived with his mother, father, and two younger brothers, Mason and Shadow. Kaneous and his brothers would stay inside for the most of their youth, fearing they would freeze to death in the harsh wintery climate. As they got older, their dad took them on hunting trips. Their food amount grew, and they had gathered enough supplies to head south.

When they reached the town of Snowy Fields, they started to trade with the locals. They soon had sold enough items to purchase a serf's home. There, Kaneous and his family farmed the land. They became a well-known family in the small snowy village. When Kaneous was just seventeen, Snowy Fields faced a great threat.

One silent, full mooned night, a group of hooded men snuck behind the walls of the snow filled town. With iron blades in hand, they raised the attention of the guards. The sound of men yelping woke Kaneous and his father up. They both got dressed and went out into the town's square to check it out the chaos. Fearing the worst, Kaneous' father, Barthus, equipped themselves with leather armor and a few old stone swords he had bought for protection. They made there way out of the house, when suddenly they hear cries of sorrow. The cries were loud and excreting sadness. They followed the cries, wanting to seek out the source. A woman sitting on the side of the stone path, weeping, call to the two. She tells Barthus that the hooded men took her daughter. She tells them that the men are bandits that come by often. She notifies Barthus that they always cause trouble and need to be stopped. Barthus becomes overwhelmed with pity and promises the lady her daughter's safety. Then Barthus and Kaneous head to the main gate, where a life changing event will occur.

When they reached the gate, four black-robed men stand in the night's abyss. Iron swords unsheathed, they mock the Snowy Field guards. Given the order, Barthus, Kaneous and other courageous men charge at the the four foreigners. Seeing as they are hiding something, Kaneous spots a small figure behind them. The little girl, standing terrorfied, is being held captive by the bandits. The men clash with the thieving scum. The little girl darts off into the town after the fighting starts. The bandits numbers go from four to two. The guard back down when the remaining men start to retreat. Having had losses too, the guards check for casualties. Kaneous seeks to find Barthus, but is horrified when he does. Barthus lays on the pavement, sword wound to his shoulder. Kaneous lifts his father limp head.

Barthus mutters in deep pain, "Son, go far from here. Go south, find a job. Do something else besides stay here. Take Mason, if you wish. Your mother and Shadow will be fi...". He dies before he finishes his last words. Kaneous would try for many years to find his father's murderer, but would eventually give up on the search. Kaneous proceeds to gather his belongings and head south. He leaves Mason behind, agreeing with him that he will be back, in which he never does return to the dreadful sight.

Kaneous finds refuge in a roadside shop. The owner of the shop is called Aldoki. He spends a year or so living and befriending Aldoki and the men living there. He then moves into the newly built town of Galahar. He buys a farmer's house and sells melon on the streets. When he gathers enough Minas, he buys a prime shop in the trading nation of Alras. He now lives there and in Galahar.

Kaneous has recently joined the Oren Military and fights for Oren. He has arrested criminals and has killed unlawful bandits, but has dreamed of being a bounty hunter. He desired to go on long overnight missions to assassinate diplomats or even kings. He wanted to target wrong doers as well as government soldiers. He wanted his way, even if it meant being chased by a whole clan of Dwarves, Kaneous wanted his way. He wants his enemies killed and his pockets filled to the brim. He was successful in the wealth part, but sought a new era in his life. An era of murder and contentment.

Question Section - Answer with as much detail as necessary:

Why does your character do what he/she does? What are his/her motives?:

Kaneous is annoyed by the ignorant people in Ageis. He wishes to irradiate them and their wrongful ways.

What moral boundaries does your character adhere to, if any?:

Kaneous only harms ones who he feels deserve it or ones he feels are in the wrong place at the wrong season. If he needs a little more Minas, he'll rob the local smithy. If he needs to straighten the local militia, he'll quietly slay the Knight Commander, being replaced by someone who Kaneous prefers more.

What are some notable strengths and weaknesses of your character? What might cause him/her to falter? Include things such as temptations, addictions, physical handicaps, etc.:

Kaneous is a skilled fighter, but he is a novice when it comes to slashing foes with golden blades. He can craft and repair anything that is iron or anything weaker than iron. Kaneous is an a excellent farmer, growing and harvesting melons for living. He, unfortunately, fails to excel in the art of mining, lumberjacking, and excavating. He does have the tendency to drink a lot. He may be pass out drunk and wake up the next morning feeling awful, but that doesn't stop him from repeating the cycle.

What role will your character play in Aegis? What separates them and makes them unique and original among villains?:

Kaneous serves as a trusted guard, but also will be a bounty hunter and a part time thief. He protects the people as a cover up, then he robs them of their belongings once he has jailed them. He gets payed a couple thousand Minas for an Orc's head, he serves it on a silver plater in less than two hours.

Is your character loyal or a backstabber? Does he/she trust others in return?:

Kaneous isn't one to betray. Being betrayed before, Kaneous hates being fooled. He will rarely screw over his current military friends. Loyalty is one thing Kaneous does not break. If he does, it is for a dam good reason.

Why do you as a player wish to and deserve to play a villain?:

I wish to have the ability to post a bounty on a man's head or mug the local bakery. It will add a sense of a two faced man to my character. I also always wish to go and kill some corrupt diplomats, but I am unable to due to the absence of an accepted villian application.

Open Response - Answer at least four out of five listed. Do not powergame, metagame, or do anything else illegal or unrealistic. Each scenario is designed with no particular objective in mind and is open ended deliberately. Assume your character is in each position, regardless of their normal situations:

A middle aged man, a young wife, and a small male child are walking down the King’s Road together. The women walks with a long staff, and the man appears to have a scabbard at his side.

Kaneous walks by, eyeing the man's weapon and the woman's staff. Considering the worst, he always thinks at least a little be committing a robbery or even a murder. Kaneous considers that being given a good few slashes and commenting two murders isn't worth a couple hundred Minas.

You hear knocking on your door and go to answer. It turns out to be an angry looking woman with a large human behind her. She is telling you that you owe taxes to King ___ and must pay within the fortday.

Kaneous pays the woman the Minas, considering he has enough from robbing people and selling arms. He also is not known by the government for being a nuisance. He is actually a guard in his town. He needs to keep a good reputation, so he can cheat and steal without the knights on his doorstep.

Sitting in Dawn’s Bakery, you hear two men talking in hushed voices upstairs. Sneaking up the stairs, you see a man robed in black and a Warden. The man is revealing Undead plans to a Warden. You can’t tell if the man in black is betraying the Undead, or if it is vice-versa.

Kaneous sits in at a secluded area where he can not be seen. He directs his right ear toward the couple, listening for distinct details. There is two possible ways this situation could go.

The Warden's Betrayal

The Warden would pass on his military's secret outposts and weak points to the Undead sorcerer. Kaneous would them gather a few more guards to arrest the two and jail them. After having them executed, Kaneous would quickly but stealthily loot the two bodies if their belongings. He would most like get a gold staff to sell for a good bit of money. He could also sell the information he heard from the disloyal Warden, making him even more rich and feeding his greed. Having been a hero, Kaneous would have more people believing that he is a ungreedy, pure hearted guard, making him less suspicious of a suspect in robberies or even murders. Kaneous would head home, send a few birds out to other criminals, then go out on a team robbing spree for the majority of the night.

The Undead's Betrayal

The Undead would notify the Warden of the Undead's secret keep, maybe even a way into the Undead city. Kaneous would not startle the two. Instead, he would sell the information before it got out through the Warden's and their allies. Making himself a good supply of Minas, Kaneous would have a couple mugs of ale and call it a night.

Two Guard tries to break up a fight between your acquaintance and two Goblins. Your friend slays one of the Guards as he approaches, causing the other Guard as well as the Goblins to unsheath their arms.

Kaneous sees that he is not close to the man, so he arrests him for murder and disorderly conduct. Kaneous then proceeds to take the man to the local jail. He then forces the man empty his pockets, taking all his current belongings. When Kaneous is done with the burglary, he executes the man for murder of a guard, leaving no witness to the robbery.

As you turn the corner into a dimly lit alley, a pair of young female halflings instantly run up to you. They are begging for a donation of either minas or food.

Kaneous gives the girls each ten Minas, but pick-pockets them of the rest they have. He seems like a generous man on the outside, but really hides his evil ways of greed through a fake donator to the poor.

Okay, Gavin, here is a bit of tips for your next because this one needs work in my opinion. You need to add more detail to the questions and fix the grammar mistakes. Also, have another person look it over for other mistakes in it. This is an Average Villain App. In some places its good, other spots its bad. The bio, its pretty good. In my opinion, its not good enough to be accepted, almost, just a bit more work. I am not going to (+) or (-) 1 this app.

3. Would other people view him as corrupt? Does he view himself as corrupt?

4. Why do you want/need to be a villain?
