Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Hail! My name is Julian, I am an enthusiastic role-player, and have been since I was introduced to dungeons and dragons by my father. Recently I have been trifling with the idea of making my own rp server. Then my friend

introduced this server as an example, and now I want to join your server; In hopes that I may be inspired, and to have a damn right good time.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 70 hours or so.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying, It is the act of leaving ones self for the means of improvising the feelings and actions of a character whom you have created for the purpose of said action. I have Roleplayed since I was a child as have stated before, and I have always enjoyed it. I want to incorporate it in almost every game I play, including Minecraft.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is using application of your own physical knowledge and or ability, that would not be transfered into your character, any application of real life, for in-game purposes. Powergaming is when one disregards the spirit in which something was made, or the fun of others, in an attempt to reach their goal. an example for metagaming would be someone who reads the name above someones head, and uses that to refer to them, without first initiating dialogue and asking. An example for powergaming is someone bringing up an asset not previously stated, only for the cause of their own benefit "But I have armor on!".

What do you expect this server will be like?: I am hoping for a complete role play experience, somewhat like playing an old fashioned D n' D game with dedicated, honest, and fun players. I want there to be more behind minecraft than breaking one more block, I want there to be imagination, not just creativity, coursing through every vein. I want to have people following me in an effort we all understand to be false, but none the less indulge ourselves in it. I need an amazing experience while playing minecraft with literally hudreds of other people. This is what I expect.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Edgeville RP for a long time, I even donated. But in the end the server kind of died, less and less people played, and more and more of the ones who still did were underground griefers, so I left and found a server at the time called Ariley92's Server. It was fun, because it was dedicated to survival. All about killing zombies, This was actually before the health update, but that was fixed later on. eventually it was named Oasis SMP. In the future they began adding more RP elements, but not actually Rping with them. I made alot of friends, but eventually I got sick of the server, their values had changed too much. After that I decided to make my own server, in Oasis's image, eventually we found this server and now use it as more of a role model than Oasis.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): I was born in the city Galahar. My father was a black smith, and my mother a house wife. Despite it being strange at such a young age, I was always interested in my father's work, and since my fifth summer I have helped him somehow in the smithy.as I grew older and stronger I moved on to tougher work, from scraping old swords of rust, to pumping the forge. I have always been a blacksmith, even so It is not my profession today. Today I am 25, I make my own supplies, and I adventure. I grew restless living the life of a citizen, so I left. Hearing tales of treasure to be found and bounties on villains heads, I never know where I am going to end up, but I always manage to get there. I am six feet and two inches in height, I weigh 230 or so pounds, I am dense and barrel-chested. I have long filthy blonde hair, and facial hair that I groom differently from time-to-time, I wear standard hiking clothes, with an occasional leather strap or steel plate. and I specialize in the use of axes, because they are heavy, but my build accounts for that and allows me to swing one as fast as another man would swing a sword.

Your characters ambitions: I intend to make a living, and have an exciting life simultaneously, my only goal is to live another day.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? I would first slay the bandits as best I could, and take their money for my own. Then afterwards I would try to weasel a reward out of this elf fellow.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? " I need no help, I'll tell you what I want, and you'll sell it to me. And wipe that grin off your face before it get' stuck that way!"

You had most points down, but here are some things you missed:

•Your definition of powergaming is "ok"... I wouldn't have asked more of it if that was the only thing wrong with your application, but I thought I'd mention it since you're denied.

•You cannot create cities to implement into Aegis. "Galahar" doesn't exist in Aegis. Say you were just "born in a village", or even better, in a town that is actually in the game.

•There were hints of powergaming in your replies to our scenario questions.

•This doesn't get you denied, but your biography didn't match your replies to the scenario questions we asked.

In your biography, you say you got tired of citizen life and moved out, and specified your skills. Pretty much it.

In your replies, you said you'd kill the bandits if you could, and threatened the nice shopkeeper!

I'm not sure if your character has a bad temper, is evil, or what. Please specify that in your biography, add a backround of why he has this behavior.
