What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying is an opportunity to step into the shoes of a person you have created. You give them a look, a style, an attitude, an ambition, a past, a complete set of characteristics. Then using this persona, you can step into a whole new world and adventure awaits!

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are:

Meta gaming is using the resources available to you outside the game to improve your experience and the experience of others inside the game. Something like looking up actual architecture from the time period and reproducing it in game. Powergaming is setting yourself up in game via your role in an overly advantageous way. For example, declaring that your character is a wealthy and powerful mage that is personal advisor to the king. Powergaming can also take the form of attempting to max out your power or position in the game simply for the sake of the power or position. A more desirable trait would be enjoying the game for the game's sake and interacting with other players.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Adventurous, vast, interesting.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Legendary Island for awhile but it didn’t have a good dynamic to the world or multiplayer.

Character Name: John Bradshaw

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): John was born to the master of coin for a modest trader and his wife. At an early age he worked aboard the trading ships working up to deckhand and eventually first mate. Traveling abroad on the seas and waterways John developed a keen sense of adventure and swore off his fathers trade. He devoted himself to exploring the lands with an eye for silver to be made and new things to learn. Now 25 he still has a love of the sea and a hunger for knowledge. He is slim and lean built, tall with dirty blond hair. Very friendly. but a little reserved. He is proud of his human heritage, He has a love of the elves and their ways. A respect for their knowledge and skill to craft beautiful things.

Your characters ambitions: John wants to be successful and comfortable. Yet he struggles to balance that with his passion to see new places and learn new things. Ultimately he tends to work at anything to earn coin to further a new scheme for wealth or fund travels to a new place.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Joins the fray! Quick to come to the aid of others, John has a strong sense of Justice.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?:

“Good day sir! I’m in need of some wares to continue me on my way. After you’ve furnished me with what you can, might you direct me to a comfortable inn for the night?”
