Soldrin Woodaxe

I'm looking for a little advice/help/brain trust for what I should do. I am Dante Magus Sol, Honorary Member of the Blackaxe, (Former) Leader of the Lunavara Workers Guild, and grand master smith. However, These nights get darker as the world grows colder. The young man has aged and may not make it to the new world. The Question is this, Should I keep with Dante or should a new persona take hold?

I have a few Ideas to go with.

1. I shall become a dwarf and keep my skill with a forge. I could become a blood member of the Blackaxe and maybe the son or daughter (I haven't ruled it out) of a current member.

2. I could go to the darker side of my soul and try to become a villain for 2.0. I would reset skills and relocate them where needed.

3. Elves? Must have beard.

4. Other...

Any Ideas help.

Elves can have a beard, its just not very common is often, and any race can be a villan.

One method of finding a character I like, is make it a opposite. When the character is in a situation, do the opposite of what you would do. Mayne try playing a female character, ive had a lot of fun playing males here and there.

Another fun thing, just make an average joe, a normal person with nothing really special to them. A sheep farmer or an ordinary woodsman, youd be surprised how much can happen to a normal person in this server, the common person is so strange it seems, and the most surprising thing is how much fun it is to be ordinary, just trying to scrape by in this extravagant world.

Definitely what Deco said. I've been RPing as Rerowin since early September now as an "average joe" and have recently become the steward of Galahar. It made getting that title all the sweeter since all I've been for a long time is a farmer.

Although, be prepared to get pushed around a lot, whether it be by guards for your safety or high ranking greedy officials for whatever you sell/make/grow. It's honestly better than being the great adventurer hero that will one day be a king or a great Ascended, or that mysterious hooded man that's out to cause trouble that everyone seems to RP as.

I know that I've grown an attachment to Galahar, living there for around a month and a half does that to you, and I'm sure you will become attached to wherever you stay if you decide to take this path. The actual RP is plentiful, as I said earlier a corrupt official or guard makes a great story, and advancing in the world is also a great feeling.

Thanks for the advice. I think I;m gonna play around with fishing for now.

Edit,

I'm thinking a Elven fisher with a liking to bows...

I know what you mean dante, i feel like i have somewhat obligated myself into continuing in lunavara, with all of the plans we have created, but right now i am somewhat dreading it and have a twist planned for when 2.0 comes out and trouvo dies, because frankly i do not want to spend the next 3 months just getting the new luna built regardless of the rp that creates it and would push it, i feel like i miss out on so much because i am a grumpy old baron in charge of a town miles from everything, and miss out on so many events because i have no IC reason to go to them and it would take so long to walk there. Still have not decided what i will do but have several ideas planned out, might just have to roll the dice and see what happens.
