Outside the gates of Sanjezal you see a tiny little... goblin? No, you look again and it's a tiny orc, water is dripping from her hair, and her very crudely made leather dress.

She fishes around in a sack she has slung around her, and pulls out something wrapped up in what looks to be a roughly cut piece of leather. Carefully unwrapping the package, reveals it to be a small book. Using the inside of the leather she wipes her hands dry, flips through the book then carefully tears out a page with writing on it. Setting the page aside, she quickly re-wraps the book and puts it back into the sack.

Picking up the page, she surveys the area then starts towards the board outside the gate, reaching it, she thinks for a moment then folds the paper. Stretching as high as she can she finds an empty spot and attaches the paper to the board. Cautiously she looks around and walks quickly towards the water surrounding the city's great wall, jumps in and swims away.

Looking at the paper, you noticed that it's folded in quarters. Written very neatly, are the words:

Pleez gibe dis to Uzggorth Lud'Gorkil.

Now it's up to you:

  • Do you read the note?
  • What happens next?

here is the note:

Uzggoth Lud'Gorkil lumbers through the city gates, returning from the hunt. He slings his axe, dripping fresh blood into the sand; blood spilled from the bowels of some filthy trespasser whom he caught fleeing the area as he approached. The severed head, he tosses to the ground, indifferently, taking a moment to scratch himself and stretch his back muscles.

His eyes skim over the noticeboard and he spots the small note. With a heavy hand, covered in scars and gristle, he snatches it up, unfolding it with the delicate grace of a butcher and reading what he can from it. His eyes slog carefully over the words, like weary soldiers, but in the end, he grunts with a smirk of comprehension and a humble nod.

He takes a moment to note all of the dirty fingerprints, water stains and illegible scribblings that now adorn the letter and a subtle rage stirs at the bottom of his gut, thinking to himself, "Why da skah so many peep at dis and nub delivery it to me?!" Then he remembers that most of the grunts can't read, and the letter IS lacking pictures. He shrugs with a chortle, tucking the letter away for safekeeping and making his way to his blarg.
