Zeddicus Fyren 133 Share Posted January 10, 2012 If the wizard/mage guild with spells carry's out, the person bearing the magic should have this symbol embodied on their robes, to show great power and understanding of the elements. Kind regards, Zedd

Elindor 666 Share Posted January 11, 2012 I actually like the shape of the symbol you put up Ogland, though I thought it should be sideways with tails of equal length. Having individual symbols for each element is a solid idea, but I don't really like the circles. While it does seem magic-y, circles are really overdone in LOTC. Also, I know many people think of 'earth' as green, but have still yet to be shown why. The earth is the rocks, the ground and the trees. Anyway... I still don't think anyone has put the colors in the right spots. red and blue should be opposite each other, likewise white and green/brown being opposite. My preference is for white on top, aesthetically and as a literal representation of the world. WHITE RED BLUE BROWN
Zeddicus Fyren 133 Share Posted January 11, 2012 Alternate Symbol I Thought I'd Make Then I decided to Make one for the four elements Fire: Water: Earth: Air: Then I made Symbols for Light, Darkness, and Thought just incase: Light: Darkness: Thought: I'm loving the idea, there should be the different classes of mage, like a war mage has the main symbol, and apprentices choose the field that they want to study, like water or fire etc.
KarmaDelta 969 Share Posted January 11, 2012 War Mages? Eeeeeeeeeeeeh....... Well if we have that many symbols, then pretty much different towers will have to teach different classes. Honestly the different ones, in my opinion, could be used in a way, but not as the main symbol.
Zeddicus Fyren 133 Share Posted January 11, 2012 Yeah i understand that, but it would be cool if when you were training, you could perhaps choose one element to train, like a skill, so in a battle you could refer to someone as like, Zeddicus_Fire_Mage or Zeddicus_Air_Mage, then a war mage (Any other names would be good), which has mastered all the elements would be called [Name]_War_Mage/[Name]_War_Wizard...?
