Ellimist 40 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Today is a grim day citizens. Today Laurelin was subject to a brutal assault from the undead's minions. The portal that had forced itself into Laurelin finally expelled hordes of Ghasts. Thankfully a messenger was dispatched to Galahar to call for aid, and many men and women fought together to eliminate the undead horde. Many were slain this day and families grieve their losses. Laurelin was not destroyed but instead coated with a deadly Miasma, an act of revenge from the undead after their bitter defeat. The pillars erected around the portal did nothing to contain it. Many speculate the Mages and druids who constructed them to be tainted with heresy. Due to the brave efforts of a few Ascended, the portal was however closed, for how long none of us know. For now we rest and lick our wounds wary and ready for another future attack.
KarmaDelta 969 Share Posted January 7, 2012 *looks at him with a serious face I like how you first said that the Ascended did nothing to protect any place....... A fricken hypocrite is what you are. The Mage's and Druids did nothing to spark this. Iblees might have just wanted to do this for us all to fight. But what you said.... what you said was just plain stupid. You first say everyone should kill the mage's. Now you start to talk like this? You sir, are a hypocrite.
-The Doctor- 65 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I was down by Arlas helping people recover. Now how am I going to get to my house in Laurelin? There were enough people getting sick down Galahar... Being a doctor right now is hard with so many people to take care of.
Dash_Rogers 130 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Sounds like a defeat for us to me. Now the undead have us surrounded. North and south capitals claimed
-The Doctor- 65 Share Posted January 7, 2012 I believe defeat is immanent. I suggest people to pack up and get ready to run. For once the undead might win...

Old-Rattlesnake 1534 Share Posted January 7, 2012 This is terrible news indeed; I expected Laurelin to be the city that held out the longest. Now with the miasma so close, perhaps an emergency meeting of the gypsy elders is necessary. I may have foreseen the end, but that doesn't mean we can't give the undead as much hell as possible before our world is over.

argonian 14254 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Darn elves deserved this ((This is IC)) The North and the South may have been taken but the Undead won't win. They lost the actual battle, showing how weak they are. They only just poisoned the air as a bit of revenge afterwards. We still have plenty of nations left to fight against the weakening Undead forces. Aegis is losing lots of territory but not lives, there are still hundreds of thousands of Aegians left. We will win this war, trust me.
mr.derp 2 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Dummhead twiggies had it comin', dah only city left will be Krugmar.
-The Doctor- 65 Share Posted January 7, 2012 In the end Krugmar will fall as well, either from the undead, or from being hostile to the other nations and being attacked. We must unite as one.

Jon Evaglno 202 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Is the city's air poisoned? Are we able to survive there? I understand it hasn't "fallen," but is it possible to live there at all?
