Dry Crackers 268 Share Posted January 14, 2012 I like the rules but want to clarify some terms. A skirmish is like a raid and is only a small battle that is not against a large target like a fort but army camps and ambushes count as a skirmish. A battle in the middle of a field or when one army is defending their field camp is a pitched battle. And a siege is when one army traps the enemy in their fort or castle and either surrounds them and waits or orders a frontal assault, in which case the attackers would be given permissions so they can use scaling ladders and such. One person burrowing in thought the walls shouldn't be allowed, blocks are destroyed too fast for the defenders to have a chance at holding the fort.
