Asulon Rules, ( Aegis 2.0 )

How about, when you schedule a fight the defending team is never told weather it is a siege, or a pillage merely a fight.

Sure they could still move their loot, but this whole thing could be RP'd that the monks need to know, so that they can heal the wounded as needed. If they don't know about the fight, they can't heal the injured

I like :D

I'd just like to see the waning shortened into 24 or 48 hours, I think 3 days is a bit excessive. Also, maybe make not reporting meta'ing the OOC war warning bannable?

I dunno why people seem to hate the cybering rule. Either people have to much "fun" ICly on this server or Arik is just a p*rv :P

If it is a small and modest town, ultimately yes, if the place has walls, that will be a pain in arse to traverse and what is your safeguard against another Ivrae situation happening might I ask?

I can answer that. Before the First Siege of Al'Khazar you and Kai spoke with me so that I would see eye to eye with you and let Edmund fall. You did this because I knew where Noremberg was, and I was planning to lead an attack on it should Brett become King. I decided that I would not interfere so long as no civilians were harmed then we agreed that I would be allowed to move citizens out of the city. When you let me go I alerted Huron that we were about to be attacked and everyone prepared. It wasn't ooc information that alerted everyone of the attack. It was little ole' Zibaen XD

No, you know exactly when.

The two factions decide upon a date.

You just don't know if they're trying to destroy your encampment, pillage it, or just slay your inhabitants

(keep in mine, we're debating this. To find out together, what is best.)

Sieges took a longer time to organize, build siege engines, and erect fortifications that would encompass and attempt to block outside influence upon the siege, thus I can see that 'pre-agreement' will be inevitable because the nation will know when your trying to knock on their castle's doors

Pillaging should only be pre-warned if the site of pillaging is walled off. Otherwise, let the soldiers grab what they possibly can from non-lwc chests and that they will have to 'prewarn' if they want access to ANY lwc chest.

Yes, little ol' Zibaen found out about us being Monks of St. Daniel and I know for damn sure that was a last minute tactical ingenuity by my character :P

Even I believe it was confirmed that Ivrae metagamed as well :3

Well at that point you guys were let through the gate because I had warned of an attack :P It made sense not to let tons of guys from an organization that no one had seen before through. But you guys got through the gates anyways two minutes later. I dunno if the First Siege of Al'Khazar is the best example of it. Most of the Undead fights were. It only took one person in Snowy Fields who was alerted of an attack coming for half of Aegis to show up. (Though they were fun battles)

what about including in the guard schedule etc. mentioned above, the general time most of their players are on in their city/town/nation and they can be attacked during that time without warning? and it would be the king/lord/prince/mayor what have you, this person's responsibility to keep this updated if for some reason the key players are on vaction or something with a new post in their guild/town thread so it would show actual time this was posted, because sometimes we all have "vacations" that just come up....IRL stuffs...

GM's would have to either,

1.) Unperm the region so the chests could be opened or

2.) Break open the chest for the players.

This, would most likely be happening all the time.

Players would constantly making mod requests, calling a mod to come do either "1.)" or "2.)" stated above.

(which could be quite a handful for the GM's)

pillaging, while players are offline seems more OOC than anything, they're not at their kingdoms because of an OOC situation. If we're talking about RP, they would definitely be at their camps or atleast nearby

Can you clarify on the stealing rules for villains? I feel as if this has never been touched on enough in the official rules.

Thieving from unprotected chests as a villain is legal.

I'm removing the ( 25% ) rule.

Are you going to specify a fair amount so people don't get angry? Maybe 25% or 50%? But yes it probably makes sense to remove the 25% rule for non-villains, since it's a bit OOC without a villain app to be stealing in the first place.

I am very interested in the *not aloud to log on with two accounts simultaneously*

I have two account which are brothers.

If I can't log on simultaneously with both account they can never meet or trade items or even really communicate except for letters/notes.

I don't really think it would be possible to use/controle both accounts at the same time for pvp right?

My second question is if I have two accounts can I use either account for my character as long as I change the name and skin or does an accepted character have to stay on the same account?

Benefiting from another account of yours could be considered powergaming in many situations, its one of things you have to allow or deny. We can't expect people not to abuse it

I read the post. "Stealing for villains is legal" is specific enough for you? If he's trying to convey that I can loot entire chests.. Then alright.. Is that what your saying Mr.Shift, sir?

Yes, if unprotected

this'll keep hermits out of the wilds perhaps
