Character Name:

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Age - 78

Appearance - He has long white hair and red eyes, he is not that muscular, but is quite skinny.

Personality - He is usually quite fearful of breaking rules and the punishment it will bring upon him, so he is usually careful about doing things unless ordered by a superior, to which he responds immediately.

Relen'disai was born into the Mori'Quessir culture as a slave, but not in the usual way. He was found by a woman, a slave owner by the name of Fuinel Du'thess, within the first few days of his life. He had been abandoned by whoever his parents were, and was left to die.

The moment the woman realized this, she snatched him from the streets and began raising him as one of her several slaves. Fuinel was a small time potion maker and used slaves for almost everything.

Relen'disai would be the one to brew her potions, the one taught the most and most carefully watched. As soon as he was old enough, Fuinel taught him how to read and write so that he could learn and record alchemy recipes. Although she knew teaching slaves these things could cause problems, she had already planned ahead. She didn't live in the same building as the slaves, but in her own home.

The slaves lived in a cold damp building, in cells with iron bars for doors. It was the equivalent of a prison. Guards escorted slaves whenever they were let out. Every door was barred, every window sealed shut. Fuinel was a harsh woman and the slaves hated her. She always had privately funded guards accompany her while she was in the slave building,in case of a slave revolt.

Once out of the cells, every prisoner was searched extensively, then sent to do work wherever she needed it. Relen'disai was always escorted to her own home, to a small, but well lit room. In here he was taught to brew potions and poisons and to record all of his results. At the age of 20 he had almost already learned all of her recipes, and at 35 we was exceptional. Of course, she treated him harshly this entire time, frequently beating him and insulting him. He hated her but never expressed it.

At around the age of 50 while the cook was being escorted in he spotted Fuinel standing nearby. The guard escorting him had got ahead and was already in the kitchen, leaving the cook and Fuinel alone, except for Relen who had also been escorted by the same guard.

The cook lept at her, his hands grasping her by the neck. He squeezed as hard as he could, trying to choke her to death. Time itself seemed to slow as Relen watched. He didn't know how to react. He would gladly let her die if he didn't think he would be killed by the guards for not helping save her.

Relen looked around trying to find something to stop the slave from killing her. He noticed a small knife, probably used for meats, lying on a table in the middle of the room. He rushed to the table, grabbing the blade. The cook didn't think much of it, in fact he thought Relen was going to help him kill her.

He was wrong. Relen took the blade and stabbed the cook brutally in the back of his head. The cook fell to the floor, instantly dead. Fuinel gasped for breath as she sat in a nearby chair. The guard heard the commotion and ran in, sword drawn. Fuinel told him to sheathe the blade, and that he was no longer working for her.

She was furious that an incident like this had been allowed to happen, and immediately dismissed the guard before he could respond. In the following days Fuinel hired new guards, and seemed to lighten up a bit around Relen. Eventually he even became her new cook, though he was still required to brew her potions as well.

For many years he worked for her, until the age of 77 when he began to crave freedom. Relen still had to be searched whenever he left the potion room, but they never seemed to search his mouth, then again, why would anyway smuggle potion or poison in their mouth?

Relen decided that he would make a weak anasthetic, one that he would slowly administer to Fuinel over time via the drinks he prepared for her. Whenever he was done in the potion room and ready to begin his duties as cook, he would take a mouthful of potion out of the room and into the kitchen. It numbed his mouth, but as long as he didn't swallow a large amount he would be fine.

(Gross part coming!) He would then spit the anasthetic potion into whatever drink he had prepared, and simply give it to her. The first time he made it, he added juice from melons and plenty of sugar to dull the taste. She knew it wasn't water, but it didn't taste suspicious to her, especially since she forced him to taste it first to make sure it wasn't poisoned. The small amount he did drink would largely be inneffective on himself. Fuinel actually enjoyed the drink and requested it daily.

For a few months the potion did seemingly nothing, but its effects eventually began to show. Over time she had recieved such a large amount(The amount she made him drink was signifigantly smaller so it had almot no effect on him) that she became bed-ridden and frail. Unable to carry on her business, she sold off the slaves and had the guards leave. "She's so stupid", Relen thought to himself. He was now her caregiver and continued to care for her, although he still had the intent of killing her.

But now he finally had her where he needed her, she could do nothing and he simply had free reign to do whatever he wanted. His first course of action though, was to finish her off. He almost felt bad for Fuinel, but not bad enough. He gave her a concentrated dose of ansthetic that night which caused her to stop breathing. She died asleep, in no pain.

Relen was finally free from this woman, he was no longer a slave. Fuinen had no family, and nobody cared that she had died. Relen simply left and went out into the city ready to find someone to make use of him, but not as a slave, no, as someone who actually mattered. He had only the robes Fuinel had given him, and no experience in the world. He had no idea how to barter, how to trade, how to do anything. He would have to learn this himself. Finally free... He was finally free to do what he wished, where he wished, when he wished.

(I also used this as my Mori application, but I think that it should be fine since they both ask for the same thing, his backstory. Providing two different ones wouldn't make sense)

Your characters ambitions:

To find one of the many houses of Menorcress to take him in and make use of his skills.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

This probably would not occur to my character, as he would not be wandering far from Menorcress unless specified by one of his superiors.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Al'khazar was taken by the undead and is no longer existing. Also, Aegis itself has fallen to Iblees, and is no longer viable for large populations, hence the mass exodus from the land recently.

Other Information:

This application is for my alternate account. My main account at the moment is Nirvash356 (Pip_Wheatfield), which has already been accepted.

I realize an application to become a Mori'Quessir is necessary, and I have submitted one already and have been accepted.

Denied.

I have full confidence in your ability to roleplay as I've roleplayed with you before, but you must fill out the open response questions. You need to assume that your character is in this situation, regardless of their normal circumstances.

48 hours to reapply, yada yada.
