[[ *rages at phone because it prevenrs her from reading things* IT MIGHT BE THE SECRET RECIPIE TO UNICORN CUPCAKES!! FUUUUUU-

But in all seriousness... hate it when I dont get to read.. Im such a damn nerd.. ]]

*In the midst of dwarven cheering, the sharing of Ale, drunken singing, and most importantly feasting, a lone elf strolls into the scene. The cheering dies down suddenly, the singing ends, and eating dwarves set down their utensils, as all eyes turn questioningly on the outsider. The elf looks around, sharing eye contact with many, before clearing his throat and stepping forward. His words are loud for all to hear.*

"Hello, honorable dwarves. I'm sorry to interrupt your festivities, but I come in a time of need. My name is Alan, I am a Prince of Malinor and a representative of the elves, but I come to you not as a person of importance, but rather as a friend in need of assistance. All I ask is that you hear my humble request, and your decision to act or not will be your own."

*There is silence, as the Prince listens for any one to speak up against him. Not a sound is heard, as he meets the eyes of the dwarves, noticing the shine of curiosity in all of them. Due to the lack of objection, the Prince continues speaking.*

"It has not been long since we elves have made our home in the grand forest that is now Elandriel, yet already a blight has entered our new land. It strikes secretly, fast, and efficiently. One day your are admiring the beauty of the land, the next you are picking the freshly severed heads of your brethren off of stakes impaled in the ground. This threat calls itself the Mori'Quessir, a race of elves that take refuge in a series of connected caverns beneath the forest. We unknowingly settled in the forest they use for hunting, but by the time we realized our mistake, it was too late for us to make home elsewhere.

We have tried learning their language so that we can communicate with them and make the connection between us easier, but they consider it sacred and scold anyone who speaks to them with it. We have tried ignoring them and not intruding in their traditional affairs, but it leaves us vulnerable and more lives are lost. We even tried diplomacy to come up with peace terms, but the only result was one of our princes entering their city, and me soon after receiving a note that the prince had woken up in the Cloud Sanctuary being nursed by monks. The answer is clear; The Mori'Quessir cannot be reasoned with, and the longer we try and make things right between our two races, the more danger we open ourselves to. We need to isolate ourselves from these savages, and we need to defend ourselves.

My only request is that you graciously lend us strong and valiant dwarves to aid us in our time of despair. I am gaining allies from every nation, and it should please you that I came to the dwarves first, as we know of your reputation as the best fighters in the land. On behalf of the elven nation, I give you my word that, should you accept my proposal, your kingdom will be rewarded in any way you all see fit.

So they question is; Who here will aid us?"

OOC:

If you are willing to help us, just leave a reply stating your RP name, your MC name, the weapon skill you will use and what it's current level is, and some kind of RP response letting us know you will help us. Thank you all.

-Prince Alan

Mr Twig, in all friendship and respect meh is 'aving ta yer race... meh as Longbeard would never get mah men ta a far place, risking their live for some twiggys. Ye cam' inta ze Moris 'ome, claimed their land without asking...what do ye expect? We recently had a mori in our city and if ye figure out 'ow ta handl' them they ar' as 'alf as dumb as ye think they ar'. Grab yer things and mov' far far away and less blood will be spread then a useless war against twiggys, that know 'ow ta fight. I've seen them fightin' and without a real army...it's useless. So let us dwarves b' and dun't lead us inta a defeat, that isn't needed ta be!

*He sits down and takes a big sip of ale*

I can understand where you are coming from, my friend. However, I'm not asking for a war against the Mori'Quessir that will lead to unneeded bloodshed and death, all I'm asking for is a few dwarves willing to help defend the elves, should they attack again. My hope is that with a collection of strong warriors aiding us, the Mori will know what is best for them and stop attacking. I promise that each dwarf to aid us will be rewarded.

Today a littl' group, including meh, went ta ze twiggeh land. Ther' we killed a few Mori and forced them ta retread inta their 'ome. They aren't as strong as ye describe...4 dwarves could hold back about 10 Moris...get yer army readeh, twiggehs, and ye'll be able ta reppeal them.

Ah agree with tha few who 'ave made different suggestions against ye. If our men can take such odds, then ye ain't fitted properly and ye army isn't built then. Ye can move, there are plenty of places fer ye. Ye don't want bloodshed, but there will be far worse bloodshed if all tha nations step in, each losing their own good men fer a cause which can be avoided easily. If tha Mori are savages, then it'll take ah long time fer them ta just give up their land, it'll be attack after attack.
