What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying is becoming a character in a story, and acting on their believes and desires. It means collaborationg with others to create a cool story. It means staying in character if possible, and not metagaming or powergaming. Typical actions in roleplaying are conversing with other characters and exploring. When roleplaying, you must always act the way your character would, wheter or not it is better for them mechanistically to act otherwise.

Metagaming is the use of out of game knowledge in game, such as knowing that since you were told to roll for trapfinding, there must be a trap, and therefore you avoid the hallway. Powergaming is making your character ridiculously powerful in one or two areas through the use of typically obscure or shady tricks, typically at the expense of other areas. It could also mean, in the term of Godmoding, a synonym to powergaming, it means making a statement such as: "I stab you and you die." This does not give your opponent a chance to respond. You can only do that if they are, like, tied up and unconcious.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Oseric grew up during the war on the undead. His father was an obscure knight who left for the war when Oseric was 5. He never saw him again. Oseric was raised alone by his mother in a small northern village. She instilled into him the importance of honor and loyalty, of defending the weak and upholding the law.

Soon they had to flee the north, and went to a camp outside the a southern city. Their new life was a hard one, and showed Oseric the value of hard work. He made few friends, for fear of btreayl. He trained hard in his free time to become a knight like his father.

When Oseric was 16, he recieved a letter informing him of his father's death. He had been killed by his own men as they were tried to flee the camp and join the undead host. His father had attempted to stop them. He failed.

On this day Oseric swore an oath. An oath to defend the defenseless, protect those who none else would protect, to uphold the law unchangingly, to keep clean his honor, and to never, ever, compromise.

He sought a master, and found a grizzled old retired knight. Together they trained day and knight. From him Oseric learned the value of friendship. They grew close, and the knight, Sir Frederick, became as a second father to him. He stayed with his master for several years, until he died of old age. At this point he decided that he must at some point follow his master's footsteps and teach others. He began wandering the realm in search of a worthy cause. He did not have the time. Iblees arrived. The continent fell.

After the undead invasion and the fall of Aegis, Oseric joined in the migration to Asulon. There, he has wandered the lands, offering his sword to those whose causes are true and just.
