Give a definition of what it means to you.:Roleplaying is when you either make a character or find a character and pretend to act like them. Involving talking as if they would, acting like them and Sticking to the character.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.Metagaming is when you use out of character chat in character chat( eg. Brb, g2g, lol etc). Powergaming is when you do things that you can’t actualy do eg. Getting defeated in battle then teleporting away.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I think it will be very good because it seems like it has been well thought out and planned.

What Other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on elvincraft, lapiscraft and one other who's name I forgot. I left them because of griefing, one got shut down and the other was quite boring

In-Character: Joseph Celebror

Character Name:Joseph Celebror

What is your Race?: Half-Elf(Just an idea(half human/half elf))

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Joseph was disowned at birth because if the fact that he a was a “half breed”. His parents hated him. He was hated at the orphanage that he was abandoned in.

As soon as he was 16 he left the orphanage. Wherever he went he had to hide his species. Course at some point he would be found out and he would be forced to leave. Sometimes spending months in the wilds.

One day he managed to find a village that he was accepted in. He started to have a good life. He got married to an elf and had seven children 6 sons and 1 daughter. Until a new human moved in. This man came in the night and killed his wife and his children, as a warning. He said that if he didn’t leave the man would kill Joseph. Then for the first and only time Joseph got his sword out and cut the man’s head off. Then he ran. He spent 50 years in the wilds.

When in the wilds he thought and thought: What have I done? After that Joseph made a vowel that he would never attack another living being.

He is now 96 which is still quite young for an elf even half elf.

Your characters ambitions: Joseph just wants to settle down somewhere that he is accepted as an equal.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, There appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? I attempt to stop the fight with words by trying to talk. However if they don’t stop fighting I. knock out the bandits. Then the elf. I will then bind them in ropes and interrogate them about why they were fighting. If the bandits and the elf are responsible I will hand them both over to the nearest authority.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?“Do you have any apples and bread?” “Yes we do.” “How much will that be?” “6 mina.” I hand over the money, take the food and leave.

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

Your definition for powergaming is incorrect or partially correct but not the definition we are looking for; to find out the correct definition you can do a google search, join our Team Speak channel and ask around or search for Powergaming on our wiki.

In game you will have to select a race on your character card out of Human or elf, but you can still RP as a half-elf. Your biography contains information which does not make sense. For example someone would not just come into your village and kill your children randomly. Also please include the entire question when writing your biography such as your characters history, personality, description and age. With the description don’t just write He is tall and old and carries around a bow. There are a lot of tall, old people who carry around bows. Get descriptive, what is your hair colour? How long? Eye colour? Big eyes? Small eyes? Do you have wrinkles? Freckles? A mole? Etc. Also, if your character is good at swordsmanship, bows or even magic you need to explain in your biography why your character is so good in what it does and how it developed these skills. We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. For example you could write my character was born in the elven kingdom of . . . or near the human fort of . . .

I would like to see at least a PARAGRAPH for each role-play question and make sure for the combat question you abide by the rules of combat for the server. In role-play you will need to warn a villain before engaging in combat. At least a couple of lines from each person is needed for combat to initiate or it is considered a no-rp kill and you can get banned on the server for it. Do not just write:

I suddenly pull out my sword and kill the bandits. Then I ask the elf for money for helping him.

Write a dialogue as well as the actions of all those involved. This goes as well for the shop question, do not just write a single line, write a full scene. Write the actions of all involved in the situation and what they say, how they interact with each other.

I want to see how good you REALLY ARE at RPing and I want you to try as hard as you can when answering these questions.
