I have a good grip on the English language and grammar as this is my primary language. I receive A marks in English at school and I hope this reflects in my application.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I enjoy sports, (such as skateboarding, sailing and football) trying new things and meeting new people. I especially enjoy gaming. I am at a school in a small town in England and I am studying a variety of subjects and I take a special interest in history.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Around 8-12 hours per week

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying is pretending to be somebody else, and attempting as best as you can to become them, as if it were real.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is saying something whilst in character that your character wouldn’t really know.

Powergaming is using power or force without giving the other player(s) a fair chance. For example running up to somebody and killing/hitting them without warning for no apparent reason.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to be fun and interesting, a new take on minecraft.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on the TroBeano server, and I left because it is a free play server and I wanted to go onto a Roleplaying server as I enjoy them.

My character is an elf that is 336 years old and he is light skinned with dark brown hair and wears a green camouflage suit.

Character Name:

Arcturus Bolthor

What is your Race?:

High elf.

Biography (This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Arcturus started off as a middle class elf, from a semi-wealthy background of miners, the Bolthors. They kept their heads ducked for many years, throughout wars where they saw friends and distant family die, whilst they carried on mining. It was the family job to mine as once was commissioned by the leader of the village, Ignatius. But now Ignatius had changed his mind. With his brother Tôrdae, Arcturus went to a renowned war academy in the area, as Ignatius thought they had potential. At the academy they were taught archery, swordsmanship, reading and writing.

Tôrdae and Arcturus were opposites, and Tôrdae was the ‘better, braver’ one of the two, but not by far the clever one.

It was 156 years ago on Arcturus’ 180th birthday, (He is now 336) and the Great War was upon them. No longer could the Bolthor family keep their heads ducked. Tôrdae and Arcturus had their chance. To break the family out from a circle of practically slavery, what they had to do to survive. Tôrdae joined and bayed for blood immediately. He quickly climbed the war ladder, a valiant fighter. Arcturus respected him, as did everyone else. Tôrdae was offered general but denied, and fought as a soldier side by side with Arcturus. They went on to fight alongside each other as the years passed on. And then, the final march came. The two brothers pushed on under Ignatius’ orders, before the rest of the Elven army.

Ignatius wanted glory, and to be known and feared everywhere. They all pushed and were shot down, outnumbered 8 to 1. Fortunately Arcturus only took a wounding to the shoulder early on in the battle and had to flee unable to fight, but Tôrdae, Arcturus has never found him.

So Arcturus went back to the ways that his family had abided by for centuries before. But now he seeks new land and new adventures, to leave old and dangerous ones behind.

Your characters ambitions:

To meet new friends, have new adventures and to explore and see the mystical land of Asulon.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

After I hear the fellow elf screaming “Help!” for dear life, I rush to his assistance and help the fellow elf in combat using whatever I had to resolve the quarrel in whatever way possible.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

“Hello sir, please may I have some of your finest ...” He then makes sure he has an adequate amount of minas to buy the product(s) “Thank you, I am grateful for your assistance and the quality of the produce. I shall come here hereafter whenever I need … again.” With a pleasant smile upon his face.

- Your biography was alright, but I don't think that a group of high elves would be miners, pick another race or subrace for that.

- Hardly reckon that elves celebrate birthdays. :P

- Try adding more of the server's lore into your biography.

- Add more details to the bandit situation, how they act etc.
