After GCSE's in English a few years ago and the fact I am now studying Classical civilisations in Sixth Form at the moment where English is hugely involved.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am currently studying 4 subjects in my last year of Sixth Form at school, and I hope to go on at the end of this year to go to university. At the moment in my life Minecraft is my passion, and after I finish any work I need done at school, or any revision I go on minecraft for a couple of hours.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I would say 2-3 hours a day and on weekends may 3-4

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

To roleplay, to me is to totally emerse yourself in a character and play out there lives using your imagination and peoples around you to shape and mold a character.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when you use information not gained in character, an example of this would be saying you see someone through a wall because you can see their name plate. Powergaming is basically not giving someone who you are rping with the chance to try and defend themselves in a fight, or in some arguement. An example of this is if you just went up to someone and Rp'ed *Raises my sword, the weight crashing down onto your skull instantly killing you*

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect and hope that the server has a good sense of community and a good set of characters and Rp skills. I have been on a few RP servers where every character is almost the same, which doesn't make for a fun diverse RP experience.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I've played two RP servers when minecraft was in Alpha, but after a short time shut down. After that I played Towny survival servers which all turned into a glorified building server with mobs.

Yes I have a fully agree with all of them.

How did you hear about us?:

I heard about LOTC from someone on my last server.

Ross Farmor

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Ross Farmor is a human refugee from the stricken land of Aegis. He only just managed to get on one of the last ships leaving, having to negotiate the chaos that was the docks at the time. Ross’ place was taken into question on the boats as in the last few minutes of loading only women and children were supposed to have a place, In the chaos Ross said he couldn’t remember what really happened, but he knew in his heart what he did and it would haunt him for the rest of his life.

On the long journey people would ask Ross about his past, but they were usually greeted with a grunt or some type or backhanded comment. It seems that Ross was the only person to know about his past in Aegis, although whatever he did it seemed to be something he wanted to forget. Ross saw the new lands as a chance to start fresh without the prejudice of some of the things he was known for in the old world.

To start this new life all Ross had was a small leather satchel containing a few minas, some bread and a very old looking book on Druidic teachings. With these few items Ross hoped to start his new life, and at the same time they were the only remnants of his old life.

Arriving on the shore of the new lands Ross was excited but also very wary, not knowing if what he did in them last few moment in Aegis would have been seen by someone, or if there would be guards waiting for him on the shore. Thankfully for him, there was no-one there to take him or way and no-one even battered an eyelid at him. This might have been because of Ross’ very common appearance, appearing to be the decedent of a northern family, Ross’ pale skin and brown hair were a dead giveaway. This said, Ross also had a very fickle personality more known in Southern humans. Also the fact he was 21 means he blends in with all the crowds at the camp.

Ross wouldn’t describe himself as good or bad, but practical. He only does the things he thinks he could gain from and not anything that he thinks could hurt him or cause harm to his ultimate goal to be successful and be someone who commands great respect, something he never had in Aegis.

Your characters ambitions:

Ross' ambition is to just generally succeed and make an impact on the world. He wishes to try and work his way to the top of the political foodchain by either schmoozing or being a great warrior.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

My character would first look at the scene and make sure he knows exactly what the situation is. After he has assessed the situation he would most likely leave the poor elf to his fate if the bandits were much better armed than him.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

My character would most likely schmooze the shop-owner, referring to how fine his items are and also how fine a person they are. he would then offer help to the shop-owner and try and free-load as much free stuff off the shop-owner as possible but still try and make sure the owner just thought I was being friendly.
