Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a avid Minecraft player and I am in the hunt for a new server. I am a very skilled Minecraft player. Also I am a friendly and nice and respectful minecrafter.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: The time I can spend on the server varies on different days. On weekdays, I could probably spend 1-2 hours on and 3-5 hours on the weekends. Sometimes I’m on more sometimes I’m on less.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I know quite a lot about roleplaying. It means to interact with other players/characters in such a way that follows your character or role.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming means to play a game beyond its "limits" (aka. mods/plugins for minecraft). Powergaming means to seek dominance over players and the system and to frustrate other players. This is a common type of player in RPGs.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server will be one of the most fun servers I’ve ever played on. I love RPGs so this will be awesome.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many servers, but the few I have stayed with for a long period of time are Arkcraft (I left because the server shut down) and ShatteredMines (It was just getting old).

How did you hear about us?: I found this server by my good friend telling me about it. He is also applying now to.

Character Name: Elessar Helyanwë

What is your Race?: The race of Elessar is Elvin.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Elessar grew up in royalty. His parents were leaders of a large elf civilization. He was trained from an early age to be a warrior and archer. He can hit a bulls eye from 100 feet and nock a apple out of someone’s mouth without damaging them. He can do almost anything with a bow. He also was trained to lead a military and a civilization. He was destined to take his father’s place as king of the land. He never had a need in the world that wasn’t fulfilled by servants or slaves. After he mastered the bow and sword, he started practice in the way of magic. He is a master at healing spells and defense spells. He is also proficient in combat magic. He loved to play tricks on people with this wonderful skill just to get some laughs. He was a trickster and he was very sly and cunning.

The day he turned 15, he joined the Elvin Army. While in training, he learned more about archery then anyone ever had. He would have fun challenging people to a friendly duel or archery competition. He always won. He even was able to beat some of the commanding officers. Once out of training, he excelled on the battle field. He became the hero of the army, winning countless battles and killing many enemies. He quickly moved up the ranks. His adventures with the army brought him too many interesting places around the world. He then ran away from the army to live a peaceful life alone. He lived the next few years as a nomad, wondering the lands looking for a good place to live.

Back at the kingdom, his parents were devastated when they heard the news that he had ran away. They could not live without him, plus they will have no new leader for the kingdom. They sent out the whole army to search for him.

While Elessar was sleeping, a patrol stumbled upon him. They then arrested him and attempted to bring him back to the kingdom. On the way, he attacked the patrol and slaughtered all of them but one. That one lone soldier ran back to the army and reported the event. Elessar was now a outlaw and a wanted man. He could never go back to the kingdom. He could never see his parents again. He was forced into a life of loneliness. He lives on as a ledged to the kingdom as well as the world.

Your characters ambitions: His ambitions are to avoid the kingdom’s army and stay hidden for as long as possible. He still wishes that he could see his parents again and he strives for a way to do this.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? My character would avoid the fight all together. Better not to get yourself involved in things that you don’t have to be.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? My character would kindly ask the shop owner what he has for sale. He would then shop and buy whatever he needed, then move on.

Why did I deny you?

Your definitions for power/metagaming were wrong. Those are the types of power/metagaming used in RPGs. This is not an RPG, it's a roleplaying server. Also, your biography shows large amounts of powergaming. So your character was a master at swords, bows, magic, leadership and deception. No. Normal people have flaws. Give your character flaws, and you may get accepted. Please wait 2 hours to repost. Thank you.
