I first got into Minecraft when my boyfriend recommend that I try it my Sophomore year of my Undergraduate. Since then we have been playing together searching for a welcoming server that will limit griefing and allow us to demonstrate our creativity.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

In my opinion roleplaying is when an individual(s) assume a role for the social benefit of a group either in real life or online gaming. Roleplaying to me is a creative world where you can say and do just about anything to make your new found character what you want them to become. It’s a brilliant world of creativity and experience.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is the use of recourses out of the game to affect your gaming experience. Powergaming, often found in role playing strategy games, is when the character uses his or her own words to make their character more powerful in game without the consent of another party.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect that this server will be well maintained with friendly gamers that will improve my minecraft experience. As well as show me how to become a better Minecraft player myself.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on Legendary Craft and many others that I don’t remember the name of anymore. I left all of them for the same reasons : Unfriendly/Unsportsmanlike player base and an inability to prevent griefing.

I heard about Lord of the Craft through my friend.

I haven't voted for Lord of Craft. I intend to as soon as it will let me. For soem reason the website kept giving me an error.

Merenwen Tîwele

What is your Race?:

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.)

Merenwen Tîwele was abandoned as a child in the wilderness to find her own way in the world. As she bonded with the natural elements around her she learned to be an expert with the bow and arrow and forged relationships with the animals as she grew into a young woman. However, growing up alone was not easy and Merenwen learned to be couscous of all those that entered the forest of her residence.

At the age of fourteen Merenwen met a traveling scholar that befriended her teaching her to read and write. Among these wonderful new revelations Merenwen also learned the art of Alchemy where she grew into an expert potion maker and a ‘civilized’ elven girl. Thalion, the scholar that taught Merenwen everything she knew, stayed with her in the forest teaching her trust and friendship. However, this time of bliss was soon shattered when a horde of bandits entered the forest. The bandits had little mercy for Thalion and Merenwen, Thalion was killed before Merenwen’s eyes, beaten and left to die she cried out to the Gods for the ability to avenge Thalion’s death.

Fortunately, a young elven boy named Aelam, came into the forest hunting game that day. Treating her with the medicine he learned to use from an orc medicine woman he saved her life.

Today, Merenwen is now 60 human years of age and she has found a friend in Aelam. They travel the world together looking for the men that have wronged them in their past. They are looking for a place to settle down together and call their home while setting past wrongs right.

Your characters ambitions:

Merenwen seeks to avenge her teacher Thalion’s death by whatever means necessary. In the process, she hopes to find a place in such a large world to finally call home.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Merenwen draws her bow and arrow and slays the bandits. Running to the elf in the need she administers a potion and bandages his wound. “Are you ok my friend?” Merenwen remembers a similar situation she herself was in years earlier when bandits killed her teacher. A tear begins to fall down her cheek as the pain from years past is now clear in her memory.
