OOC: I feel obligated to mention that the majority of halflings living today are NOT from a human parent and a dwarf parent, but of two halfling parents. Originally, halflings were dwarf and human, but over time, other halflings bred with others. A halfling with a dwarf and human parent is fairly rare.

Also, I suggest joining one of the already existing families if you are to become a halfling. There are far too many one person families as it is. The largest are Brandybuck, Sturdyfoot, and Took, I believe.
