Old Man Boiendl 1454 Share Posted February 27, 2012 *Boiendl pins a note to the message board.* Today I Boiendl Silverblade, High Magister of Renatus would like to officially announce my retirement. I believe my age impairs me from conducting my duties as High Magister to its fullest. Those who may think that this is due to the war I say it is not. I have reached the age of now 79 and at that age a man should not have to worry of the troubles that this job brings. I leave it up to Reynard to pick the new acting High Magister. *A list is seen below* -Reynard is to pick the new High Magister. To The Renatus Council- I am sorry that my retirement has come at such a time but as you saw at the last meeting I have become argumentative and can no longer fully carry out my duties. I do wish that you do not look poorly upon me. If you are in need of anything I am still around to be of assistance. To Reynard- You have lead well and you have stood strong on your morals. I am sorry that I can no longer be of assistance but now at age 79 I think it is time for a retirement. I hope that you continue on leading with a strong will. To my more or less son Throdo- Stay strong in the face of adversity. Your time will come, you know how to contact me. Take care of your sister. With a sad nod Zibaen hobbles away from the message board one struggled step after another with the assistance of his cane. The young are slowly recycling out the old at last. After several paces he stops and declares outloud, "When the hell did I become older than Boiendl?" With that he limped his 81 year old self away from that message board almost as fast as a snail. It be the time to allow the young, but dare I say, restless, to lead the city in which you poured your heart into. I am an elf so I have been lucky to slip the the strong grip of father time's burden of age, his abrasive sands leave nothing but young skin. May we always remember your work.
