"Hail to all, this note is to tell that Markus is not with us anymore, nor has Julius been seen recently either. This is important news to everyone of ascella, so I thought that all should know. I have the rights to lordship, and am offering to possibly take control of the land, if this is anyone's wish. If Julius or Markus return, we will negotiate and try to bring prosperity back to Ascella. If this is against anyone's wishes, I shall be waiting in the town."

"I am the only one who still comes to this land, I am the one who tends to the crops, and I am the one who built the extra farmlands to feed the people of Ascella. I provided them iron for their needs in labor, and in war. I have played an important role in Ascella, even giving much of my time to hollow out the rock under everyone's feet. I have never turned away from anyone in need of the town."

*Evinger lets out a long sigh*

"But you are right, there are others more fit to run the job, no, to have the responsibility, but I am offering myself as the medium for everyone's needs."

"Tell me this.. You speak of war, Would you side with hanseti and their allies, or renatus in this current war?"

"Why side with any of two people who are the enemy of the other? Wouldn't that mean that you, yourself, have now become an enemy to the entire nation? Fighting for one side simply means you have no opened a bigger rip in the fabric of a nation. I will not choose a side for any war, nor will I try to shed blood for the honor of another man."

*Looks up at the sky slowly*

"To wish peace with war, simply is madness.."

*Lupus walks slowly but shakily through the gates and turns to the sound of Malice and Evinger speaking*

*speaking in a quiet yet weary voice Lupus says"

"Peace both of you. Now is not the time to speak of war. We must have a census. All who live here currently must sign or notify us of there position. The Guards must be re-organized. It was only Cressaran, Borus and myself who manned the gates. Cressarn is gone and Borus has other obligations. The farm must be tilled and planted. The town must expand above ground and a proper wall built. We have much work to do but in my weaknd state I must rest. Evinger it is you who must see to expanding the town. Jullius must be found. He has the commission to pay for a proper farm for the town. Evinger I do not doubt you that you would do well in being steward but I must ask that you wait. Once the census is complete we can then hold a vote on who shall stand as steward.......*sighs heavily and looks at Malice*. I trust you, you must keep an eye on things for me here. It is important that you do. I must rest and so cannot be of much assistance. I know you will do well. *looks back at Evinger and at Malice* Now what say you?"

*leans wearily against the fence awaiting their response*

"The residents of Ascella are lucky this man came about. I was planning to make some.. changes.. ((Make it look abandoned with vines, old stone, remove some blocks maybe,)) when this man spoke to me. He wishes for it to become a trading town, which actually could prove well."

*Stands, listening to the other conversations.*

*Looks back at Lupus and nods in agreement*

:I completely agree on expanding the town, and contacting Julius for the minas. I also never said that I MUST take the King's place. I am merely offering my leadership my friend. I do agree that the first priority for the town should be to expand, and make everything more efficient for it's people. War is nothing to me, nor should it be for anyone, my plans were to convert the town into a profitable settlement for everyone, not the cause of many bloodbaths."

*looks around to everyone*

"I promise, if given the title to own this settlement, to raise everyone's morale, and give you all a better chance towards the future. I know many of you have your own skills, as do I, but we need to apply them HERE. I will make the town have more room. I will make the crops produce more food. And I will NOT let this town be any part of a war which will solve nothing."

*Raises his fist into the air."

"We are all brothers, and sisters! Also, with trade routs to other towns, we shall raise our town's income twofold! We have our brothers of Aliquam whom are willing to trade with us!"

"Census first. My friend. Too few are resident here at this point in time".

*Looks from Evinger to The Aliquam representative and bact*

"Evinger I think you should speak to him about the trade between our towns. It could prove most profitable for us both as it would open them more directly to Salvus and Renatus and Hanseti for trade and us to the Dwarven nation and Kal Dwain. We should expand the area above ground with the intent to make us a wealthy trading town with the undercut the main place of living and storage".

*looks around at all the faces*

"Now all in favor of appointing Evinger as steward and Lord till we have a more stable footing and are able to make a proper vote say Aye".

*chuckles softly*
